2951 Durfee Ave # F, El MonteSpectacular! I needed pine pellets (which I use for cat litter and I'm tired of paying premium prices because someone slapped the word "feline" on the bag). Thought I was going to have to drive wayyyy out to the farm store. Someone suggested I check this place out. So glad I did! Picked up several bags of pellets (40 lb bag goes for under $10) and got a 50lb bag of bird feed while I was at it. Pay at the counter, take your receipt outside to the helpful friendly folks with the forklifts, and they load it into your car for you.

It's also exciting coming and seeing the birds they have! Once in awhile they get some pretty cool/unique looking birds its great! I love the people and the atmosphere here and that's why I will always come back!

Compared to other places, their price is pretty good and cheaper than other pet stores. They sell reptiles and spiders here as well, and on rare occasions you might see animals like a cat or dog. (Tho I haven’t seen a cat or dog for sale in 10 years)
I never had any issues with the pets I bring home. They were always healthy and pretty sociable.

I got to try a sample of the avocado banana smoothie and would definitely come back for it. The place is also super clean and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

10814 Main St, El MonteHands down, some of the best burgers (sliders) I have ever eaten and I am not easy to impress or write many reviews. After eating here I had to write one. I didn’t know what to think when walking up ‘in the alley,’ but the reviews were good so I thought I’d give them a shot. I am glad I did. I got The Hamburguesa and my wife got the Korean sweet and spicy pork. We swapped one to try out the other. Both were delicious. Fries were crispy and spicy mayo pushed them over the top. Oh, and the service was just as good. If you are on the fence and reading reviews, I hope this one helps you decide to go! Awesome experience! Thanks Borracho! We’ll be back for the wings next time!

They are very garlicky and I can find no other garlic fries that suit my tastes like this place does, I am in LOVE. The garlic is cooked at a level where it still has a kick, and that’s what I like. It goes really well with the aioli they provide as well. For those who are sensitive to the spiciness in garlic, their regular fries are also super worth getting. The ice cream is yummy with unique flavors, and the crunchy cones pair deliciously with it. I got the Pink Lady drink and it's so tasty and refreshing. Their drinks are Asian approved not-too-sweet!!! Guy behind the counter is also super sweet. If I were a pharaoh I’d ask for those garlic fries to be put in my tomb…I think about those fries at night when I try to sleep and I wonder how much better my life would be if this establishment was open til 2am and was actually right next to my house. If there is one fan of those garlic fries it’s me.

10404 Valley Blvd, El MonteI had a very pleasant lunch at Singkawang Café, of Singapore Laksa (a type of curry soup). Not overly spicy, with quite a rich broth, it contained two large triangles of fried tofu, three good sized medium shrimp, a whole hard boiled egg cut in two, three slices of fishcake, rice noodles (the type variable on demand), and bean sprouts. And with the bill, a nice surprise of a small bowl of dessert - homemade hot sweet black rice gruel with a few flecks of yellow corn - delicious. Service was pleasant, attentive, and smiling. The canned music not unpleasant, and the atmosphere functional, but fine and clean. I'll be back.

Example: The feta/spinach wrap thing slipped through its sleeve and fell on the street while I was walking back to my apartment, and I returned to pay another one. They gave me one for free! So sweet and just made my day. Also super kind to my little purse dog whenever we come by.

I like their soy cream drinks a lot, and their tofu desserts are all right if you like tofu pudding thicker because it's not super smooth. Still a good stop for some tofu flavored snacks and drinks!

I got the 15 box meals which is great for its value and the meals were ready pretty quick.
They all tasted amazing especially the Hawaiian salmon.
As someone who is watching their nutrition and health this is by far better than all the other places I meal prepped from.
