“I will say that I can see how the Home Depot has changed, the majority of items are locked up. However, I do understand why; it’s due to the high amount of theft. But, I would like to say that I appreciate how friendly and how proactive an employee was during our visit. Denene provided us with AMAZING customer service! I appreciate how thorough she was explaining the process of changing out the cabinets and counter tops for our home. At this moment, my husband and I will be placing that project on hold, but I did want to recognize the amazing job she did, with being super patient with us and answering our questions. Thank you so much! ☺️”

“This is about customer service that you don't get every day. I bought some bronze metal paint from this Home Depot to camouflage some new wire conduit being installed on my dark wooden ceiling beams. Then the electrician installed the conduit, not on the beam, but on the cream-colored wall under it! I couldn't find the receipt. I went to HD and explained to a lady in 'returns' named Delilah that I wanted the very same paint, just in a lighter color -- could I exchange it without standing in multiple lines? She said of course I could. It took me a little while to find a can of the lighter color -- someone had put some flat black in front of it. I got back to returns, and some other lady who must have been having an awful day told Delilah that she had to make the transaction a return, issue me a store credit, and send me off to wait in another line. I didn't have time for that. I told the other lady thanks but no thanks, and assured her I'd mention the store in my next review. I was just about out the door when Delilah ran up and said she could help me -- there was no such rule. She completed the transaction quickly and neatly on her terminal. If Home Depot wants more happy customers, they'll give Delilah a big raise and promote her to training! So I'm mentioning the store in a different kind of review!”

“Dude... I love Cole Hardware lol. Coming to this store is like going treasure hunting. Sometimes I'll wander in with no agenda and no plans - and then find something useful, exciting, or random to buy. Recently I got a "stubby hammer" - a mini adorable hammer. I also come here for gardening supplies. They have lots of soils in the back. The best part of cole hardware is the staff. They're knowledgeable and friendly. And not pushy! The staff doesn't hard sell you. One gentleman helped me find tools for de-weeding my garden. He suggested the cheaper option, because he said it did a great job. I've also gotten great tips for gardening. Don't let my photos dissuade you - go check it out!”

We visited many different vendors early on and Gabbie's advice was the most sincere, and ended up being all the correct ones for us. Their price is very good and their customer service is excellent. From design configurations, to sample/color selections, to ordering and scheduling, to dealing with unexpected supply chain issues, they were responsive and really helped us every step along the way. Gabbie even gave us great referrals and recommendations on other related products such as kitchen hood and ideas on appliances. We are very happy with how everything turned out. I would recommend them to anyone we know who wants to renovate their kitchen!”

“This Home Depot is in the Emeryville shopping area, with a huge parking lot and is within walking distance of a Target, Nordstrom Rack, Office Depot and Michael's.I've gone there to get paint matched, and a variety of other household items and they've always had them.Lately I've been ordering online for pickup and they've usually been pretty responsive to get the pickup orders ready.”

“This review is for the customer service pick up window only I went into the Home Depot on Alameda Ave. this morning to pick up a bedframe that I had ordered online. Shawna and Mya helped me and both of them were awesome! They brought this huge heavy box out to my car and loaded it in. They are both very strong, respectful and polite.”
