“This 7-11 hasn't changed in 30 years. I used to buy candy here when it was under 25 cents.I hope it never changes. If you are friendly to the staff, the staff will be friendly to you. They also have ice now, which I don't remember before. My only complaints:1. Only IPA beers; plllllease just one amber ale or pilsner or something!2. If you go during school hours (high school 3 blocks away), prepare for a long line. Not their fault.”
“I would give them 5stars but Verizon as a corporation makes that impossible - they can be so difficult to deal with. That said, I have been a Verizon customer for 4 years (owned a GTE wireless phone back in the day) and this is the only store in driving distance form out North Berkeley home that I will go to. Staffa re generally helpful, well trained, knowledgeable and responsive. I like to buy my phones in person and I have purchased a number of phones here over the years for my business. I used to also go to the Berkeley store but it is a licensee now that can't be trusted. Of the major cell companies, Verizon is imho still the best though their nickle and diming does get to me sometimes.”
“Had an extremely annoying problem with my phone, where it could not connect to internet, send, or receive calls. T-Mobile online was no help whatsoever.
I went into this store and Mike was awesome. He tried a bunch of things, but wasn't just messing around with my phone--seemed to know what he was doing. I ended up spending over an hour in the store with Mike, and on the phone with a technician. Unfortunately, the technician on the phone seemed to make the problem worse, but that's not the store's fault. This store is the only thing keeping me with T-Mobile.”
“DJ was amazing! Prior to coming down to the store - which is tucked away in a shopping plaza - i was on the phone for a total of 4 hours over a week between being on hold and getting partial instructions on fully activating my transfer. There was no line, DJ was able to fix my issue in less than 10 minutes. Word to the wise - go to this location instead of calling T-Mobile customer service.”
