“I'm Thankful for the teachings and insights I have received from Unarius and its students. Each time I visit, I feel uplifted and that I am participating in creating my positive future. From discussing topics with the students, taking creativity workshops and participating in the classes and events, I am gathering tools and experiences that help me to grow and hopefully help in creating a better Earth for us all. I think the creativity workshops are probably the best way to visit especially if you can tie it with a tour. It would be a great first introduction. Besides the workshops, I really love the Crystal Flame Ceremony in December. My first actual visit (I've been aware of Unarius for years) was a visit during business hours. We spent an hour talking with Billie who has painted some of the most well known paintings of Unarius. Each time I visit now I can feel the positive energy and excitement building. Stop in and ask questions. They are always willing to talk. There are a ton of books and dvds and everyone's favorite, the starship pin!”

“Recently, our family decided that our dog needed a companion. We found heart of gold shelter and visited them outside of tractor supply at an adoption event. At the event, our family met Jessica, and our new future pup. Throughout the process of introducing our dog to the puppies through shelter visits, and home visits, Jessica was very helpful and supportive. We appreciated the thorough process to ensure the new pup was a good fit for our family and vice versa. Our new adopted pup Leo (pictured on right) has been adjusting to his forever home amazingly well, and he has quickly become a part of our family.Working with heart of gold shelter was a fantastic experience, and I would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.”

“The East County Chamber has been a great way to connect with other business professionals here in the East County. There are plenty of opportunities to network (Even during COVID), and this alone makes the membership fees (very low for what you get) worth every penny to me. If you are a small business owner, or you work for a business in East County San Diego, I would highly recommend getting involved with the Chamber.”

“I've worked here as a driver for 15 months. Very fullfilling work! Every day is fresh, as no two days are alike. How do you know when you've found your dream job? When on Sunday night you can say, "I GET to go to work tomorrow!"”

“The drop off for donations is facing Via Rancho San Diego road. The store is no longer open. They have a few parking spaces for drop off. Just ring the doorbell if no one is available. Fill out a yellow receipt form and save it for your taxes. Easy. And you're helping out people get jobs and affordable goods.”
