“I love shops that have clothing and designs you can only get in that store, and Japangeles is that kind of store. Located in Little Tokyo in Japanese Village Plaza among many other shops, this one stands out. They sell mainly men's clothing, but I think their stuff is unisex (shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc.) Their sizes run a tad small imo. They don't have an online shop which I think is really cool because shopping in Little Tokyo is an experience on its own and I highly recommend. However, they do online pop-ups every so often which they announce on Instagram. The staff is always so nice and helpful every time I visit. Definitely check out this place next time you're in LA.”

“Cute shop with great quality items. The prices are reasonable for the quality and I was happy to get a holiday sale price on some items. I'm very picky with how I spend my money, but I love when I kind find original styles of great quality. The sweater and crop top I bought are nice additions to my closet. I also purchased a perfume oil, Mezcal Blanco! I hate almost all perfumes so when I fell in love with the smell of this line, I had to buy it. Very happy with my purchases and will be back. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. Ask any questions, or try something on. I didn't try anything on because I was in a hurry and LOVED what I got from just looking at it.”

“We worked with Leehwa for the hanboks for our Pyebaek ceremony for our wedding on 10/21/23, and could not recommend Laura or Leehwa enough!! We rented hanboks for the bride, groom and mother of the bride, and they were all beautiful, altered to us before the big day, and just stunning - we got so many compliments on them and the process was seamless! Special thanks to Laura for helping us pick out the exact right hanboks, getting the hanboks to us in record time, and basically making the whole experience so fun and enjoyable.
