“I always get excellent service here. The only thing i wasn't too happy about was the lack of seating. There were only two chairs inside the waiting room at the time of my visit to get my tires rotated, so i had to sit outside on the cement wall ledge thing.
Other then That, there is a small room for improvement when it comes to service reminders, it would be nice to have Mountain View Tires place some kind of static cling label in the windshield for tire rotation reminders like just having the return at mileage (-----) for rotation sign. At the Ford dealer, i take my car to get oil changes, i always get a reminder static cling sticker on the windshield that tells me to bring it by a specific date or mileage.
I would like to see that in the future with Mountain View Tires.
Other than that, 4 stars because of the lack of seating. ? please put the chairs back you guys had before. Thank you. ?”

“Update 11/25:
I have moved to Whittier since my first review and still take cars here for more sophisticated and complex work. I had been lax on maintaining my nearly 20 year old E550. Major issue were the air shocks. Original diagnosis was a compressor issue but Chris found an electrical issue....much less expensive that the compressor. He saved me a grip of cash which was reason I was lax with maitaining of E550 in first place. He did some other PM stuff on the ride and my little rocket ship is ready for road once again. Thanks Chris and crew!

“Great prices and great work! They were brilliant! They got my tires on, an alignment and all that stuff, a new battery, new wipers and an oil change done within about two hours. I was so impressed by that. And of course I go on the coldest day of the year so far, they were kind enough to have my car warmed up for me lol.

“If there's 10 stars then I will put 10x100. I've lived in LA for 20 + years, but never been able to trust any mechanic until I met Gary this week. I went in for the smog check, but because his shop was busy, he had taken my car to his trusted mechanic who does the smog check. He charged me what the mechanic charged, he then told me what parts needed to be looked at. After all was done, Javier gave me a ride back to my place! I mean who does that!? There's a reason that he's been in business since 1973. You should ask the history of his shop - it's an incredible and inspiring story he'll share with you. Can't recommend highly enough!”

“Traveling alone last weekend I hit something on the freeway which punctured 2 tires. I pulled off at the very first exit and to my surprise, this tiny tire place was just off the freeway. Felipe arrived early to open and took me right in! He replaced 3 tires and was so professional and kind. I was an emotional mess thinking about what could have happened. I was back on the road 30 min later. Thank you again Felipe, you are such a kind man.”
“This is now my go to shop for my car services. They were very personable, professional and shockingly reasonable. They pointed out some areas of wear but suggested that there was no need to address them in the near future. From my experience, most shops would have strongly recommended that they be addressed immediately. I trust these guys. They’re clearly not out for the fast buck”
“When I say this is the most honest place for auto repair, I tell you no lie. I’ve been coming here for years and the reason being is because I feel safe. As a woman, when it comes to auto repairs, I have no clue but ever since coming here I have never felt taken advantage of, disrespected or treated different. I am always taken into consideration along with my finances by everyone here, it doesn’t matter who is helping me. I’m always back on the road in a timely manner with a smile on my face and not a dent in my wallet.

“The car service itself is good, but my initial customer service experience was disappointing. I was told on two different days that I could come in at 4:30pm to get my brakes done, but when I arrived, I was told the brakes area was closed. There was no apology and no accountability for the misinformation, and when I asked for clarification, an older gentleman spoke to me very dismissively, which was frustrating especially because I try hard to support small businesses.
However, after posting my review, the shop reached out and worked with me to offer much better service. I appreciate that they took the time to fix the situation and make things right. I’m glad they followed up and showed that they do care about their customers.”
