“Tons of tools for great prices. They have the super cheap but they also have higher quality too for medium prices. Certain things are fantastic buys at this store such as work gloves. You just have to buy stuff and try it out, sometimes it's junky but a lot of the times it's not and when it's not it is saving you a lot of money so it makes it worth it. In the long run you get to try out a lot more tools then you would have if you just bought bigger name brands. A must go to place for tool users”

“Lowe's is different from Home Depot, in two obvious ways: 1. Lowe's is brighter--it's well lit while Home Depot is darker. 2. Lowe's seems to have its merchandise organized better, more like a store. Home Depot is a warehouse. But I get that Lowe's has a different model in that they're trying to cater to the DIYer of which many are women. Home Depot tries to get construction workers' business. Of course both try to woo both the construction folks and the DIYers. Take your pick, both have everything for the home and the construction site. You can't go wrong buying from either one. I go to Home Depot because there's no Lowe's in my town, otherwise I'd buy from both stores.”

“I just love this old school small town hardware store in downtown Chico. Walking into collier is a bit like stepping back in time. I like to buy my Lassen National Forest Christmas tree permit here and then drive up into the mountains to grab my own slice of the holidays. Highly recommend a stop at colliers if you are walking around town!”
