A small hotel, private, secure, comfortable and quiet mostly location, thats close to town but not in the busy noisy area. Only eight rooms. The innkeeper is kind and professional, he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome the couple days I was there. All digital checkin and access, controlled entry point gates and privacy walls at front, with fencing around the perimeter. A few parking places right at the front of the hotel. The rooms modern, comfortable and nicely furnished. Comfortable beds and decent hot water for a shower. All the standards one expects to find while traveling. Fridge with coffee station, a flat screen, table and chairs, etc. The grounds of the property are very private and nicely maintained. A hot mineral water pool (90 degrees) and hot tub (104) fill the interior courtyard that is concrete walkways all around. The backyard is very comfortable with several seating areas, a firepit, a fenced dog recreation and relief area and bbq grill. The property is also truly dog friendly (no fees charged) and as well is a cannabis friendly hotel with open outdoor consumption encouraged. 4 Stars a solid very hip little hotel with a great innkeeper that provides a great escape for a day or longer. 00959”

Over the years we have tried them all. Often it is just my wife and I, but last year we took over most of rooms and the whole family celebrated Thanksgiving with my 96 year old mother who lives in Desert Hot Springs. The location is great and the views are breathtaking. Eric is a gracious, thoughtful and wonderful host.”

Just a quick little getaway for my wife and I, we took a couple days to decompress, relax, and just disconnect from our daily lives. Left our kids at home with grandpa and decided to have a little staycation. We’re residents of Palm Desert (semi-locale), but have lived all over the country and have experienced a lot of great little getaways. This hotel was perfect and we have to hand it to the owner (Todd) for not only providing a great experience, but a memorable one. The property was great. Quiet, clean, meticulously landscaped, and quite serene. The rooms were perfect, very minimalistic, clean, and just the right amount of amenities. The common grounds were beautifully kept and thoughtfully designed, a great overall aesthetic. The property was quiet overall and far enough removed from a major traffic area, not much traffic noise throughout our stay. The proximity to eateries was convenient enough to go try out some local restaurants, we ate at a few and they were all solid. One of my major compliments was to Todd and his overall engagement with us during our stay. I’m very talkative (extrovert) and enjoy talking to anyone/everyone, Todd reciprocated. The amenities in the kitchens seemed very thoughtful and recognized many dietary needs that people might require or request, plenty of dairy free and gluten free options. The fridge was beyond generous in their assortment, as well as their coffee and tea offering. The “continental” breakfast was one of the best I’ve seen, good assortment and more than enough for all the guests. Good quality in the offering as well. Plenty of snacks and treats available all day as well. These little things go a long way in my book and I sincerely appreciate it’s convenience as well. Really want to thank Todd for the considerate gift given to us upon check-in, we enjoyed it during one of our evening soaks. I treated my wife to an on-property massage with the scalp tingler and she absolutely loved it, enjoyed every second of it and said that she wished I would’ve gotten one too. Maybe next time! The pools were so relaxing, so calming, and so refreshing, all at the same time. Feel years younger and feel quite relaxed for the first time in a long time. To sum it up, we will definitely be returning in the future and will likely recommend this resort to many friends, family, and clients in the near future. Great job providing a great experience and look forward to our next visit. Keep up the good work!
Rooms: Perfect. Not too big, not too small, had everything we needed and a small fridge to put beverages in (in case you wanted to bring snacks or beer) and the common areas were accessible 24/7, including the shared kitchens.
Nearby activities: We didn’t really leave the general area, although Joshua Tree and Palm Springs aren’t a far drive. We were there for the natural hot springs on the property and rather enjoyed those.
Food & drinks: Amazing offering from the owner, don’t need to bring much as they offer a great selection of treats, coffee, teas, refrigerated beverages, and solid breakfast. Some solid locale restaurants, many of which the staff can recommend as well. We had three enjoyable meals during our stay.
Noteworthy details: Very quiet property and all guests were respectful of this, though many were engaging and all delightful. No loud parties or messy guests, respectful adults who were all trying to disconnect and relax.”
“So this is our second visit here. First time was a day trip. It is an adults only location and recently-ish clothing optional.
There is basically no checkin process. Do not expect a lot of service. The amenities work though clearly not a lot of upkeep over time.
It’s unclear to me how many of the guests are aware it’s clothing optional from what I recall the only place it is mentioned is on the front page of the website and you can easily book a room without seeing that. It has not been busy either of the times I’ve been which depending on what you’re looking for could be a great fit.
Rooms: Each room is themed maintained but there is some wear and tear. Mini fridge and coffee machine in the room (coffee machine was useful for heating water but didn’t have coffee pods in room, did not seek any out elsewhere).
Nearby activities: Lots of food a short drive away.
Noteworthy details: Clothing optional. Pool and day beds are great though the daybeds could use more upkeep.”
“We have been coming here for ten years and it always
has top service and excellent pools. The rooms are spacious. The real mineral water pools are perfect temperature. The gift shop
proprietor is good at what she does and found me the perfect suit”
“The rooms could use an update but we go for the 8 different mineral pools that are open 24 hours a day! The bar/restaurant on site has great tasting reasonably priced food too!”
“This resort and spa did not disappoint. Excellent facilities, gorgeous landscaping, natural hot spring tubs, jacuzzis, large pool, and dreamy vistas. The cafe serves healthy fare, coffee, and the most delicious green juice. I had an awesome hot stone massage. A great place to recharge. I'll be back.”
