“The bi-weekly farm stand offers a bounty of freshly harvested produce. Typical greens include kale, chard, mustards, dandelion, amaranth, spring, gem, romaine. Other standards are radishes, eggplant, onion, tomatoes, beets, carrots, zucchini, squash. Various seasonal herbs are available. Supply depends upon the harvest. A very positive presence in the neighborhood!”
“G'mach aka "The Jewish Gift Closet" is such a wonderful place.. The volunteers are so helpful in helping you with what you need and both Myrice and Helene are such beautiful persons! they care about you as if they've known you your their whole life and make sure you are felt welcomed and never turn you away for anything.. I've been able to find clothing for my growing daughter and the best part is I can always bring back what didn't fit and it's been a great place to also bring my donation items.. they take anything from Men/Women clothing, shoes, accessories Baby/Kids clothes, toys, crib, maternity Books, new toiletries, houseware and more!! It's great to have a place like this to help the Jewish community”

“MashAllah really clean prayer space and spacious parking area. Carpets were SUPER soft. Can be a bit hard to find, I believe there’s another way to enter via a private road so be weary of that. Also only certain doors to the musala are unlocked throughout the day for anybody praying while traveling.”
“I started attending some of the Garden Club events this past couple of years and they are exceptionally well- organized, educational, a good variety of activities, and fun! The club facilitator really does a great job at switching things up. I especially love the annual holiday events. Garden Club grounds are lovely. I always go without expectations; I know that I'll learn something, I'll meet new people, and I go with an open-mindset and fun attitude! Great way to spend the day!”
“I am so grateful for FACE Foundation. My Cane Corso pup had surgery on her eye that stemmed from a hereditary condition. Without treatment could have resulted in the loss of her eye. The FACE foundation was quick to respond to our application and made the whole process easier for us to get the care my girl needed. “They have the easiest donation site I've ever seen. All you have to do is park, drop off the stuff near or in the bins, and leave. It's usually never crowded and you can even ask for a receipt.”

“Great club. My son wanted to find a club where he could learn from skilled coaches to improve his own abilities, and compete with other teammates who also wanted to excel, while having fun. He loves it. In addition to coaching the kids in the game, they also teach and expect good sportsmanship (which not all clubs emphasize). Very positive environment that brings out the best in my son. In addition, they offer camps during school breaks for continued competitive skill building. The other parents are all terrific too; it's fun to go watch the kids' games together.”
“This was the first time my son participated in summer camp. I joined through level up SD and picked them mostly because their program fit my work schedule. My son had an absolute blast! Of course he has asked to return for his other breaks. Thank you so much to Mariah & the clairemont B&G club staff members for your kindness, enthusiasm and creativity while working with all of the kids of this club. My son was never bored , never complained and got the best sleep all summer long lol. We will definitely be a returning family. Thank you again for all of your hard work !! Until next time ! :)”
“I'm stupid obsessed with diagonal crosswalks. This one traffic feature makes Encinitas Mainstreet one of my favorite North County destinations. The whole area is more pedestrian friendly with these crosswalks included in the design. There are a variety of breweries, restaurants, and things to do. I'm a huge fan of Candles on Tap- where you can create your own custom scented candle. Modern Times Taproom is a fave when I'm wanting a beer and I love the gelato shop. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's how it goes when you're steps away from the city's best dining/retail AND the beach. Go for sunset, stay for drinks & dinner. It's a great place to be!”

“Recently adopted a bunny through their facility and as a previous bunny owner I appreciate soo much all of the love, care, and attention they give their buns. They insure you understand the care needed for a bunny prior to approving your adoption to make sure they've found their forever home. Each person I spoke with throughout the adoption process was kind and knowledgeable.I've only had Pumpkin Spice for a few days now but he is adjusting and warming up soo well. I hope other buns are able to find their forever home also!Highly recommend if you thinking of adoption or having questions about bunnies and their care. “I'm a long time Y member. Toby Wells and Mission Valley are the Y's closest to me. I'm a senior and mainly use the gym equipment. I used to take more classes but there are not as many yoga classes as there used to be. The Y has a good online list of its classes now.”
