I just wanted to express how lucky we are that we found this school. We are new to Davis/Woodland area and did not know as much in terms of preschool. Long story short - my daughter loves this school. Her teachers (Mr. S and and Ms. M) are very thoughtful, kind and caring. I highly recommend this school for any preschooler.

A large lawn where children can run and play. It helps in the development of various areas through various activities. The teachers are very friendly and kind, welcoming children and always treating them with love. There are many children who are pure and desirable. Highly recommended!!

UCNS is such an amazing, attentive and wonderful place. My son loves it there and the teachers are so kind and care so much about each child as an individual. They are great at communication and I highly recommend this school!
UCNS Preschool (University Covenant Nursery School) is a private, non-profit preschool serving the Davis area and is is a ministry of University Covenant Church offering programs for preschool aged children (2's, 3's and PreK/TK) from 9AM to noon, with extended care available from 12PM to 2PM, following the DJUSD calendar from August - June.
Our preschoolers spend more than half of their time using our large outdoor classroom areas, rotating through spaces on a weekly schedule. We maintain a low teacher-child ratio and small class sizes so that we can provide individualized curriculum and activities to support children's growth in social, emotional, physical, creative, cognitive and spiritual development areas.
