“I just wanted to express how lucky we are that we found this school. We are new to Davis/Woodland area and did not know as much in terms of preschool. Long story short - my daughter loves this school. Her teachers (Mr. S and and Ms. M) are very thoughtful, kind and caring. I highly recommend this school for any preschooler.”

“Saw Harrison about two weeks ago. My fingerboard of my fretless bass had some buzzing issues. . Harrison took about 10 minutes to adjust the truss rod and string height. Nothing high tech, but the last guy I saw just couldn't hear it. He also saw me on the fly when I walked in and took care of me right then and there. My instrument plays great. He knows his stuff. Definitely an old school love and understanding of instruments. I'll be back.”

“We’ve been so happy with our experience at Peregrine West. I recommend this school to all of our friends. My 2.5 year old looks forward to school every day and comes home excitedly talking about all the fun he had. In telling me his stories about his school adventures, I also get a glimpse of all that he’s learning too! The teachers are truly inspiring and it’s obvious they love the children too! Their documentation is great as well- As a nervous first time mom I have no anxiety dropping my son off as I know he is well taken care of with lots of love, playtime, socialization, learning and healthy food. I can’t wait till my younger son is of age and he can attend as well.”

“We stumbled across this place during a search for birthday locations. The facility, staff, and educational activities were so impressive that we brought our daughter's entire class for a birthday party. The educational program and leaders were kind and appropriate for the kids. We got back many responses from the parents that had not been there before were extremely grateful and delighted to be in a safe place where the kids could interact and touch the many exhibits.An additional note, the kids were sitting on the ground to have some animals come out and great them. Some of the kids made little mess with some snacks. By the time I came back to gather up belongs and clean the room the staff had already vacuumed and cleaned everything up. This whole experience was very reasonably priced and we felt taken care of so we could celebrate with the kids.”

“The Merryhill Preschool in DAVIS !!!!!It took me a long time to find a school that would best fit my expectations when it comes to diversity in Teachers/Kids/Curriculum. I FOUND THEM AND I COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPIER! My daughter started going to this school about a month ago and she loves it . When I drop her off , she says " bye mom" and doesn't hesitate to go and have a good time with the teachers and the kids. I love the staff . They are amazing with my daughter and her speech has shown improvement from the first week of her attending the school. I also love the communications that they have with the parents where they always send pictures, they always keep us up to date of weekly learning , monthly events.....They always have a theme for the week ....so it's been awesome”

“My kids are grown now. Discovery was wonderful. I worked very long hours, but they worked with me, not against me. Every day at pick up, both kids proudly showed me their art, books they read, songs they sang, and other interesting projects. If they saw a bug inside , a teacher would gently move it outside and explain how to respect nature. They loved the chickens. They loved singing songs, reading in the loft and swinging. They loved circle time. Why am I writing now? Because I finally slowed down and am going through boxes of my kids artwork. It's a sentimental project. But I remember their teachers fondly. They watched over two precious children while their parents worked to provide a middle class home, groceries, utilities, etc. in a safe little town. Both kids are doing just fine. I never worried about them when I dropped them off. Thank you, Discovery. Thank you especially to Sue. Peace.”
