We are extremely proud to have all the great teachers impact our child’s early learning experience and so thankful for their support in this early stage of education.”
“My children both went to Danville Montessori, and I'm impressed with the excellent teachers. They established a strong academic foundation, and I never had concerns about my older child's studies until the third grade. Now, older kid transition to middle school, I appreciate the effective learning approach at Danville Montessori.”

We loved being there. We loved the staff; they were so friendly and so kind and we really appreciate them and everything they did for my son. The only reason we looked into switching was because we felt like he's getting bored. We really saw that. He has so much more potential only if the curriculum or the school goes after what he is very good at. Now it has only been a few months, but I cannot even find the words to tell you how much improvement I see in my son. The school focuses on academics but also emotional and social growth so much that it is unbelievable The amount of hi's, goodbyes, calling everybody by their names, and just any social growth that you would not just expect but you would dream of your child having, they have put it in him already. And the way they go about is so amazing that I don't even have to ask him to do those anymore. Now moving on to academics and sciences and art - so my son was always very interested in animals and science and things like that. We read all sorts of books like that at home, and I know he was already advanced for his age. However, ever since we have moved to the school, it has been taken to next level. The school is ran by two fabulous women who care, who are very passionate, who love children, and who are on top of everything. And I mean everything. Their communication, the way they keep you involved, yet make sure their policies and rules and children's independence stays intact is beyond amazing. Also they have done a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful job picking out the most caring, passionate, informative, kind, and responsible teachers you can ever find. You can tell how happy the teachers are and how much they love what they do. I can honestly go on and on and on bragging about this school and everything about it. So anything you could possibly ever ask ,want, or need in every school they've got it all and more. Thank you for taking care of our little ones so well and for preparing them for what's to come. We truly love and appreciate you all.”
“ACLC's childcare services have been a blessing for our family! The Chailed Card system they use ensures smooth and secure payments, making it convenient for parents like me to manage expenses. The staff at ACLC are not just caregivers; they're nurturing, attentive, and truly invested in the well-being and development of our children. I appreciate their dedication and the safe, welcoming environment they provide. Thank you, ACLC, for your outstanding childcare services!”
“My daughter has been going here for a little over a year and absolutely loves it and thrives here. It’s personal and I know most of the teachers by name. Priya is absolutely wonderful and has set a beautiful environment for growth. It’s not just daycare; as an after-school program as well, the teachers truly care about your child’s education and go the extra mile to provide exceptional care. My daughter loves going and has never had a bad report. I particularly love the additional reinforcement they provide in addition to homework from the school - the packets are fantastic!!”

920 Diablo Rd, Danville“We feel incredibly lucky to have found Larson's 3 years ago for our son. We moved to Danville during the pandemic, July 2020, when childcare overall was a challenge. Larson's did a phenomenal job being transparent and diligent navigating the fluidity of COVID to ensure child/staff safety. Our son had challenges with his emotions at 2 years old. Larson's partnered with us to ensure we were all on the same page and to have a plan for him as we worked together. He has made leaps and bounds since then and can articulate his feelings, rather than acting out. The staff are the shining stars of it all. Every morning and afternoon you are greeted with warm smiles. If a kid is having a hard time at drop off, they are comforted with some loving hugs or an activity to assist mom/dad/caregiver getting out the door. If your child is in a bad mood/grumpy at drop off, the teachers have this magical way of redirecting your child to a happier disposition. It is such a positive, loving, and caring environment that is apparent from the time you enter the door. On top of the loving and caring, they operate as a school does and have well planned out themes for the curriculum each week. We receive a weekly newsletter with all the details for each class (they are broken up by ages) and the upcoming birthdays and staff anniversaries. The communication is impeccable! They also offer enrichment classes for those who wish to have their children participate in. If you are looking for a safe, fun, loving learning environment for your child, Larson's is the place to be. It's not only a great place for your child to thrive and create wonderful friendships, it's a place that treats you like you're family.”
“We could not love this school more! It has been the absolute best fit for our family for many of the same reasons listed in other reviews. A few of the top reasons why we love it are both of our daughters can go to the same place, which is hard to find. They have an infant/toddler room, so our youngest started there at 14 months while our middle daughter started at 16 months. The middle is now almost 3 and we still say all the time how lucky we were to find SVDS when she was 16 months. Second, the teacher to student ratio is the lowest I've had experience with or seen at other schools. Third and by no means least, Fedra, the owner and school director could not be more amazing. I've told her before that it feels like she treats your kids like the only ones that go to that school. She knows everything about their day and I don't know how she does it. They have a wonderful outdoor space and I know my kids are well taken care of and loved everyday.”
“So thankful to be part of the Learn and Play community! They are an actual Montessori, unlike so many so called “Montessori” schools around the Bay Area. Our daughter’s transition from another Montessori to Learn and Play Danville was effortless, which we thought would be a difficult task for the family. Highly Recommended, not only for excellent academics, but also for the quality of care, affection and attention that the teachers provide to all students. Thank you Learn and Play, Danville, hope you continue to grow!!”
