“I am thrilled to share our wonderful experience at UMP. We are entering our 3rd year at the school with two children attending and our 3rd joining soon. It has been the most wonderful and positive experience and I tell everyone I can about this amazing little school. The small class sizes immediately stood out to us – it's evident that each child receives personalized attention, fostering a true sense of belonging. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional, not only in their expertise but in the genuine care they show for every child and family member. The hands-on thematic learning approach is above and beyond and I am blown away week by week with all the things they do. My little ones come home excitedly talking about the engaging activities they did each day, from science experiments to creative art projects that tie into their lessons. What truly sets this preschool apart is the strong sense of community they've cultivated. It's more than just a school; it's a place where the kids feel loved and valued. We couldn't be happier with the decision to enroll our children here – it's a nurturing environment that has laid the foundation for a love of learning and a sense of belonging. We love UMP!!”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about this school. We had both our daughter and son attend from the time they were 2 1/2 years old till 5 years old. This school has helped in making them the intelligent, outgoing and happy kids they are today. They offered creative artistic learning projects that pleased both kids and parents, alike. I have full trust in all of the teachers there. Miss Lisa does an incredible job managing the school as well as creating programs to correct behavior when your child goes through their "tough periods," which they all do. All of the teachers communicate very well through a wonderful app which I have always appreciated and occasionally send pictures of your kids on classroom celebrations like holidays. Going into elementary school, our kids were at the top of their class from the preparation given to them by Alamo Country School. I balled my eyes out on our youngest's last day there. We will miss this special place and so will our kids.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Alamo Montessori and all that Marnie and her team have done for our little boy.We enrolled our son at 18 months, the youngest age that AM accepts (which is lower relative to many Montessori programs in the area!) While I knew that it would be a big transition for him, I was comforted when Marnie asked us to come see the program in action and let him join in for two short visits prior to our first day.At the time, he was shy, attached, and was behind in his speech. Since then, he has grown into such a confident, personable, and intuitive little boy. I attribute so much of that to AM's approach to learning. They paint, do science experiments, read books, sing songs, and play outside every day. They let the child lead with their interests, but also expose them to experiences that I don't have the patience for (or the willingness to clean up!). He is constantly coming home with new skills, songs and words in his vocabulary. He gets so much focused attention and I can tell that he is incredibly well loved and cared for. We communicate and receive photos through an app, and there are twice yearly "parent teacher conferences" where we get an update on how he is doing. He has thrived under their care. I truly believe that placing him in Alamo Montessori has been one of the best things we have done for him. I am so grateful.”

“Great pre-school, convenient location, amazingly caring and friendly staff! Our two kiddos always excited to go to school in the morning. Yes, there’s a waitlist but that’s just a general issue in this area.”
