PetSmart
315 Gellert Blvd, Daly CityPetsmart dog training department. I've been taking my female doberman Iris here for puppy class and intermediate class with Martiza. She is such a caring and wonderful dog trainer and has ways to help the dogs and trainers get better in class. She has the best passion for all the dogs in her class, and they all seem to love her so much. I recently adopted another doberman pinscher, Remy, who is also seeing Martiza for puppy class and intermediate. She was amazing helping both my dogs pass both classes and more to come. Now with brain games on the way both my doberman will be attending her classes with some private classes also. I highly recommend Martiza if you need your dog train to do better. Looking forward to the upcoming classes with Martiza with both my doberman pinscher.

Pet Grooming

Best Friends Grooming
2388 Junipero Serra Blvd, Daly CitySharon always takes good care of our girl. She’s a terrier chihuahua mutt (rescue) and can be very skittish. Sharon knows how to handle her. One time I walked in and our girl was barking her head off and Sharon said “hey you have to be quiet now I’m talking” and SHE LISTENED. Hahaha!
She does a great job grooming and has our preferences written down so we just need to drop her and go.

PetSmart Grooming
315 Gellert Blvd, Daly CityWe can't thank Vivian enough for always doing a great job with our dog! We only go to her, and will not switch! She's very nice. Her haircuts are consistent. We especially appreciate how she can nail the round teddy bear look--see how our dog has really round paws and face? So cute! Not only that but under his paw pads are so trim. She also does fabulous trimming his nails and handling his oddly angled dewclaw. Thank you Vivian!

BluePearl Pet Hospital
2201 Junipero Serra Blvd Ste. C Suite C, Daly CitySugar is a very special case. Sugar has diabetes and recently became blind because of it while on vacation sugar injured her eye pretty badly, and I was referred to the ophthalmology department at blue Pearl Veterinary specialist in emergency in Daly city.
I was of course, very skeptical at first because I didn’t know much about The hospital
Upon arriving with my baby, Marina at the front desk was so welcoming and made sure that I felt comfortable.
After that, I was introduced to the ophthalmology team, which was Dr. de Bustamonte And her team. Suzie and Izzy were the technicians and they were so kind they treated sugar as if She was their own dog.
Sugar is Well, on her way to recovery thanks to Everyone at Blue Pearl. Thank you so much

Pet Sitting & Training

Laura's Trailpals
44 Shakespeare St, Daly CityLaura is awesome! We first met when I was running with my pup and she was running with the Trailpals in the East Bay hills -- I was so impressed with how gracefully and skillfully she managed the dogs, and I knew that my pup would love to be a part of that and that I would need a reliable safe place for her to stay when I travel. So I asked Laura for her card, and signed up, and am so glad that I did. My dog *loves* Laura and I am immensely grateful to know that she is safe and happy and in good hands, whether she is out for a day on the trails or staying with Laura for a week or more while I am out of town.

Drip and Melt - Cafe Deli
301 87th St, Daly CityI love the chicken melt they offer! After opening the box, I accidentally ordered the wrong sandwich, but I'm so glad I did! You must eat the sandwich while it's still hot or at least warm it up if you can't consume it right away! The turkey pesto panini was yummy as well! Service was friendly, and the restaurant was clean.

Blue Line Pizza
511 Westlake Center, Daly CityHad a luncheon with 21 guests at their Daly City location. Given the number of people attending figured it'd be good idea to make a reservation on their on-line system. Heather their event coordinator emailed me to share their various menus available and help me develop a preliminary menu so we didn't get there and have to wait 30-40 mins for everything to be prepared. This turned out to be a good strategy as we pre-ordered a number of pizzas and appetizers so those came pretty quickly after ordering our drinks. We then simply added 4-5 additional pizzas and appetizers to supplement. The appetizers were great. Everyone enjoyed the brussel sprouts (I personally don't particularly care for sprouts normally but found them pretty good. As mentioned earlier we had probably 8-9 pizzas. All of their pizzas were pretty good, if there one I probably wouldn't order again that'd be the BBQ Chicken (BBQ sauce and pizza just doesn't work that well). Also thin crust is generally better than the deep dish crust. Staff were very attentive and polite. With a group that large there's always a ton of confusion and delays because everybody's got an opinion...... Nevertheless the staff were super patient with us and we got all of our food pretty quickly. I didn't know what to expect since I had never eaten there before but this experience was super positive and I do plan on visiting again sometime in the near future.

Ohana Hawaiian BBQ
344 Westlake Center, Daly CityI ordered the short ribs plate lunch. It was a good amount of food for the price. Great for that meat and carbs "stick to your ribs" kind of meal. The food came out after a few minutes. It was fresh and hot. The service was friendly but not overly so. They put the food in takeaway containers and a bag as the default, which I always think is a bit wasteful, but in this case it was too much food for one meal and I had to take some home anyways. All in all they do the basic Hawaiian plate lunch well and I would back. Next time I'd try the seafood combo or family meal when I am with someone.

Nick the Greek | Daly City
507 Westlake Center, Daly CityMom was craving a burger when we decided to check out Nick the Greek. Mom ordered the burger, while I ordered the Beefteki and kiddo ordered the Beef/Lamb Gyro bowl. We added on the combo of fries and a drink to our meals as well. When our food was ready, they brought it to our table which was nice. Mom didn't care for the feta and had to take out some lettuce so she could bite into it, but noted she thought it was a good burger. As for the beefteki, the pita was soft and the tzatziki added to the flavor profile. The fries were crispy. Kiddo is a big eater and he found the gyro bowl to be quite filling. Overall, we enjoyed our meals and the prices were reasonable. I'd like to try their chocolate dipped frozen yogurt next time.

Gilman Brewing Company Taproom and Gastropub
2001 Junipero Serra Blvd Suite 180, Daly CityWent to this place for the first time to celebrate a birthday and watch 9ers vs Cowboys. Had some great Detroit style pizza. Cheese, pepperoni, and pesto. The pesto sauce was rather strong but I liked it. The crunch on the crust was great, enjoyed the crunchy cheese edges. I was told they have decent beer on tap, Blonde ale and others (I don't drink). They offer tots, garlic knots and salads. The server was on top of everything. He was brining out the food, rapid fire. Checked on us multiple times and reminded us last call before the kitchen closed. The private room had a nice ambiance. Great big screen TV. There was a couch and about 4 tall boy tables. I'll be back.

Happy Lemon
3 Serramonte Center #118A, Daly CityA busy location within Serramonte Mall. I decided to come in and get a salted cheese green tea and a fresh lemon green tea. The salted cheese drink was so yummy - lightly sweet and refreshing, the barista also sprinkled a light dusting of matcha powder on top which gave it a very subtle bitter under note in the overall flavor profile, which I liked. The lemon green tea is waaayy too tart though. You have an entire lemon blended in it and it is a really strong taste. They also have very limited seating inside for how much foot traffic they get.
