“De Anza KinderCare is top-notch if you are looking for a daycare. I started my 2 year old here and he loves it now. It was rough starting off but his teachers were so caring, and attentive. They made sure he was comfortable and ensured it was a safe space. The flexibility during drop off has also been helpful. The meals are nutritious and they provide a variety. My son has now been speaking new sentences that he learns from his teachers every day, and he's also made new friends. Only thing I wish is sometimes they need more teacher coverage, when someone is off sick but that's understandable since we are now living with COVID being endemic. The best part; they teach kids to be independent little humans - like put the plate away after eating, cleaning up your mess, etc.”
“I had my daughter in Little Tree for 1.5 years, starting in Room 3 with Miss Mercy & Miss Lily, then Room 1 with Miss Ola and Miss Jana. The switch from inhome daycare to preschool was pretty stressful for me but apparently this is good practice for kindergarten and beyond for the kiddos. It's a big change for the kids too, but with that comes a lot of opportunities. There's a try out interview for a reason -- there tends to be a decent amount of structure and worksheets which took some getting used to, but ultimately got my daughter to learn better focus skills. Miss Mercy really ignited my daughter's interest in art and magic (she now calls many things "magical" and it is a delight), Miss Lily was always so kind with her persona and patience. My daughter begged me to get her teachers to come to her bday, and Miss Mercy stopped by and made her and every child there feel special. It was beyond and so kind. For Room 1, we had to leave early -- only 5 months in :( But in that time I saw incredible leaps in her development. We've been trying to teach our daughter to read for literally a year, but since joining Miss Ola's class, she basically has learned everything we've been trying to teach her. In fact, she started schooling my husband and pointing out certain phonetics as "digraphs" which we both had to Google and figure out what that meant. I'm sure some of this has to do with her age and development, but even in the back to school nights I really noticed the care and diligent observation from the teachers that really catered to her learning style and focused on kindness / being a helper. Chinese with Miss Jana has been great as well. Since joining Little Tree, I feel secure at family reunions knowing that elders will be happy with my children's Chinese even though I personally don't speak the language.I will also note that the front desk woman, Bai, has been an immense help in making sure I was organized and in sync with all the events of the school. I also loved how every morning she would call out "Good morning [my child's name]!" to my daughter very directly and warmly from the admin office. It gave her a sense every morning from the start that she was mattered and she belonged. It's a busy place with a lot of working parents, but the teachers are phenomenal, the location is amazing, and it is getting better all the time. Specifically, hours have shifted from 9 AM start to now 8:15 AM to accommodate parents with other kids in school. Also, early on I missed certain deadlines for events and then they started posting deadlines at check in / check out so I never missed a deadline again :)Lastly, I'll mention the extracurriculars & food are both wonderful and reasonably priced! Compared to art classes at art centers they're about 1/3 of the cost and my daughter really enjoyed them. The food they offer is Chinese which is a nice touch. Having a bilingual preschool was a hopeful turnkey to linking my kids to their heritage, and having authentic Chinese food has been a wonderful add-on.Growing up I had a really bad experience in preschool and I'm just thankful I survived. As a parent I feel like placing my child here I did one thing right to give my daughter the chance to securely explore and discover who she is. When we left we got a preliminary compilation of the graduation book of various creations from our daughter and our own wishes from the experience. It brought a tear to my eye to see how we all changed and developed from the experience. I never get used to how quick the time goes and how much changes, even in just 1.5 years <3”
“Our experience with Safari Kid Cupertino Campus has been nothing short of wonderful, offering a nurturing, educational, and vibrant environment for our son(3 years old ). From the spacious and inviting classrooms to the expansive outdoor playground, every aspect of the daycare has been thoughtfully designed to promote a love of learning, exploration, and physical activity.
One of the standout features of Safari Kid Cupertino Campus is the incredibly spacious environment. The classrooms are bright and airy, providing ample room for children to move around and engage in a variety of activities. This space is not just physical; it represents the breadth of learning opportunities and the freedom children have to explore their interests. The decor and setup of each room are tailored to stimulate the young minds, with educational toys, books, and resources readily available.
The outdoor playground is another highlight, offering a safe and stimulating environment for physical play. The playground equipment is modern and well-maintained, with a variety of structures that cater to different age groups and developmental stages. This outdoor space is essential for children’s physical development and for fostering a sense of adventure and exploration. It’s always a pleasure to see the joy and excitement on our son’s face as he navigates the playground, developing his motor skills and making new friends along the way.
However, what truly sets Safari Kid Cupertino Campus apart are the teachers. They are passionate, caring, and incredibly skilled at engaging children in the learning process. Each teacher brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine love for working with children, creating a warm and supportive atmosphere. They are attentive to the individual needs of each child, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence. The communication between teachers and parents is exemplary, ensuring we are always informed about our son’s progress, activities, and any concerns.
In conclusion, our experience with Safari Kid Cupertino Campus has been exceptional. The combination of a spacious and stimulating environment, a fantastic playground, and dedicated teachers has created a daycare experience that not only meets but exceeds our expectations. It’s a place where our son has flourished, developing a strong foundation for his future learning and development. We feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of the Safari Kid family and highly recommend it to any parents seeking a high-quality daycare experience for their children.”
“My 2 kids have gone to good sam since they were 2-3 months old. The teachers are really good. They genuinely care about the kids and show them a lot of love. The kids do cute crafts for special occasions (like Mother's and Father's day), and during the summer they have fun activities like water play, a petting zoo, bouncy house, etc. The older classes also learn a lot about letters of the alphabet, days of the week, and playing nicely with friends :) Highly recommend”
“This center provides activities that are important for socialization and intellectual development, a friendly atmosphere, children are surrounded by people who love children and their work - an excellent community for every child”
“I went here as a 7th and 8th grader. That was before they called it middle school, and before they had 6th grade there. It was a Jr. high back then. And just 7th & 8th grade back then. I went to by 6th grader's back to school night: My kid told me that Blair and Murphy is still there. My kid really loves her history teacher, Kamp. Because she days, "he's so chill"At back to school night I was that one parent with the tattoos, and being judged by the parents (jokes on you, I'm a sales executive at a tech company). The typical school parents hasn't changed. 2 of the 6th grade parents asked the math teacher, "How they can get their kids into 8th grade math". Y'all I almost laughed out super loud. I'm sorry I'm that A-hole. I'm not sorry about it either.”
“My second daughter graduated from VLP in June 2023 after attending for 3 years. The staff was very kind and my child enjoyed going to school every day. Our oldest daughter also attended since January 2018, so our family has been a part of VLP for 5.5 years.Besides the regular class activities, the school offers gymnastics programs, etc., which I believe is a very good environment for the education of children. Our family is especially grateful to VLP for keeping the school open despite the difficult circumstances during the Pandemic.”
