Pet Care

Pet Ear Care Center
10026 Peninsula Ave, CupertinoThank God for this place. My cat Baloo was having chronic ear infections. My regular vet kept giving her the same medicine. Which would work but then her ear infection would come back every time. Using google I found this place. They were cheaper than my regular vet in San leandro, and had so much more knowledge about ears. They found a polyp on her ear drum and now I finally know what's wrong with my cat and how to fix it. Definitely worth the trip to Cupertino. They even washed her ears better than my vet. She has been happier and playing more since her visit, even still having the polyp. This place has the knowledge and equipment to properly diagnose ear problems. Wish I would have found them earlier.

PetLight Therapy Center
21686 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoI started bringing my 12 year old dog, Mercy, here in May after she got diagnosed with DM- Degenerative Myelopathy. The team that treated and provided care for her were incredible, specifically Dr. Greenleaf and Susie. Although Mercy has passed away recently, I'm very grateful for the light treatments they provided her so that my children were able to come back from school to spend some precious time with her before she had to go. My whole family is very grateful to have spent time with Mercy during the last period of her life, which couldn't have been possible without the care that Pet-light Therapy provided.

Cupertino Animal Hospital
10026 Peninsula Ave, CupertinoThis has been my dog’s Vet since I got her at 2 months and I love them, they’re great!! I brought my pup to get spayed and they did an amazing job. I also bring her for her yearly check ups, to get her nails trimmed (bc I’m so scared to hurt her) and they have even done the exam needed to travel outside of the country. I will continue to bring her and trust them with my fur baby.

Nirvana Soul Coffee
19700 Vallco Pkwy Ste 190, CupertinoThis is my favorite coffee shop! The coffee is always excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The atmosphere is great, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and the service is consistently fast and friendly. They also sell bags of their whole beans, which are really good for making espresso or cold brew. Highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a great cup of coffee!"

Rio Adobe Southwest Cafe
10525 S De Anza Blvd #100, CupertinoRio Adobe takes their salsa seriously, with a variety of fresh salsas at the salsa bar. The unique plates were particularly good, like the Hopi Blue Corn Enchiladas, a vegetarian dish that balanced sweet corn kernels with tart tomatillo sauce and a flavorful tortilla. Portions were generous, and the beans, rice, and guacamole on platter dishes were great. Also has a few bottled beers and Mexican sodas to choose from.

Vidovich Vineyards
18101 Montebello Rd, CupertinoLove this winery! The wines are amazing - great cabs and a very yummy port at decent prices. The views are fantastic and the tasting is casual and fun. The folks working there are super friendly, take the time to discuss the different wines and just make this a very special experience. I've visited multiple times and it never disappoints. It's worth a visit.

Dish n' Dash
20750 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoA solid spot for a satisfying meal with plenty of variety. The meat is super tender, and the rice is flavorful, making for a comforting bowl. The lentil soup stood out as a highlight--rich and well-seasoned. The system is straightforward: you order, receive a number, and the food is brought out to you. Self-serve water and sauces keep things simple and efficient.

Roadtrip Bowls Made by Lazy Dog
19359 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoWhether you are eating indoors with friends, or outdoors with your furry pet, this is a great place to eat! I have friends that are anti-vaxers and prefer the outdoors even though none of us have pets! The food is plentiful and very tasty! All of the Lazy Dogs are the same ... cookie cutter style. Kinda like going to a McDonald's where they are all similar.I like the fact that it's a place to schmooze with your friends and family in an atmosphere of conversations and eating. The service is good in an unhurried sort of way.

Sweet Maple
20010 Stevens Creek Blvd, CupertinoOkay, this rating should have been a full six stars - lot's to rave about, such as their Thai Tea Toast, the fluffy pancakes - each very delicious and yummy to eat. But there was one item that was a noticeable exception. . . I must rave about the Thai Tea Toast. Similar to a Tonga Toast I had at Disneyland, this was as delicious to eat as it was to view. The outside was crunchy, while the inside fluffy and moist. The thing I marveled at was that it was not sickeningly sweet as I expected, and really went well with coffee. The side of a pancake actually was fluffy and not heavy at all. My wife ordered a BLT and avocado sandwich with roasted potatoes. Though the sandwich was tasty, the attention to detail in their roasted potatoes was surprising! - delicately crunchy on the outside, but very creamy on the inside. Wonderful! And now for the not so good part of this review. Disappointing to state that I was not even impressed with their Loco Moco, a Hawaiian specialty with a fried burger patty with a fried egg on top, all on a bed of rice, smothered in gravy. Though it looked like a Loco Moco, the similarity ends there. The breaded hamburger patty, which should have allowed a crispy outside and a juicy burger on the inside, was completely well-done crispy. I mean that even the patty was crispy - and very dry, and without flavor. Needless to state that after one bite, I was done. Never have I been as disappointed with a dish as I experienced here today. Too bad, as this would have been a six-star review . . .
