I was at home waiting for my package on 9/30, but no one knocked on my door or notified me of the delivery attempt. Instead, a door tag was left, and the driver left without delivering the package. Now the FedEx station is asking me to pick up the package myself. What should I do?

I was supposed to have a packed delivered to this office. I was only able to communicate with an automated, brainless agent who told me that the package was in delivery to my home even though the shipper told me it would end up at this FE office for me to pick up. There was no way that the automaton was going to let me talk to office staff unless I applied a tracking number. But if I did that it still refused to let me talk to staff. Now I have to drive to the office to ask what is going on.
On another occasion, I was in this office a few days ago looking at carboard cartons for shipping. There were others in the office waiting for help. I had my back to the desk and I hear, "can I help you?". It did not occur that this was for me as others were waiting for service. I was wrong and the next thing was a "can I help you" in a rude voice. I turned and saw that this was directed to me. Why this woman couldn't walk 10 feet to where I was standing and ask this question is beyond good customer service.

While I'm not one to typically leave online reviews, my recent experience at the FedEx store compels me to share my story.
First, I have always relied on FedEx as a reliable carrier and this experience is not really about that transport service. This is primarily about the frontend customer service and processing at this particular store. Fwiw, I will state the facts and leave it to your interpretations.
Initially, the representative seemed disinterested, which I can understand given the high volume of customers they likely deal with daily. However, it was the handling of my transaction that truly bothered me.
I arrived with my item already packaged and labeled correctly, sourced from a well known online platform that services millions of packages daily, with a total expense of X dollars for shipping label. To my surprise, an adjacent employee to the one helping me remarked that they couldn't accept my package and insisted on repackaging it. Despite my protests, they proceeded to charge me to repackage it in an oversized box or take it back altogether, resulting in a charge double the original shipping label cost (now 2X). It felt punitive, especially when I questioned the necessity of repackaging as my original packaging was sturdy.
Even after paying, I inquired about repackaging it myself but was told it wasn't allowed, and I'd need to purchase additional shipping supplies. Feeling financially burdened already, I reluctantly refrained from further expenses. When I requested they package it in front of me to ensure correctness and adjust the shipping charges accordingly, they refused, claiming it wouldn't affect the shipping cost. Strike two.
To my dismay, over five weeks later, I received an exorbitant bill from the online platform, charging me five times the initial shipping label cost (Total cost now 7X). This rendered the shipped item's value insignificant compared to the shipping expense incurred. Strike three.
This franchise and its staff seem either incompetent or blatantly anti-customer. They should have declined my package or repackaged it immediately, informing me of the revised shipping cost beforehand, or simply returned it to me instead of shipping. Instead, they opted to charge me seven times the original shipping cost. I leave it to your judgment.

Today, I dropped off a pre-addressed package. Two people helped me, and they were extraordinarily friendly, helpful, and efficient. It made my day.

Don't go to this FedEx location.
I went here to drop off an AT&T equipment to be returned. As instructed by ATT I didn't need a box or shipping label as the FedEx location handles it all.
I was there about 10 minutes before closing time and there was only one customer before me who was already being attended to.
The lady at the front office rudely enquired if I was dropping off a package. I told her about the att equipment return. She flat out refused to help me as it was too close to closing time. I was inside the store and there was nobody other than another customer who was almost done. I explained that I was going out of town and this had to be dropped off then and politely requested that I would greatly appreciate her help in getting the drop off done then
She made me wait for a minute or two and said that she won't help me as she had other things to do before closing.
I asked her if she could direct me to another FedEx office location that was open longer.
She rudely told me to Google it myself
