“I purchased a bike here and later realized the size was wrong. I came back after 8 days for an exchange. The store accepted my exchange even though I had rode my bike for about 15 miles. The staff offered great help during the exchange. Now the new size is a good fit. I am happy about the purchase.”
“Went there on MLK day and found the bike I wanted in my size in stock. Went for a test ride and was very pleased. The front desk staff got it to the mechanic who did some adjustments per my request (and their suggestions) and I was in and out in an hour. Got just the bike I wanted and couldn’t be happier.I got my last bike online. It was too small and never fit me and was a waste of money. I learned my lesson - buy local and support your local bike shop! You’ll save money on the long run.”
“I had emailed the shop earlier in the week, as I was looking for bike rental near trails as I didn't have a car. They responded with some good advice. The location in Los Gatos is perfect because you can leave the shop and basically get straight out towards Lexington Reservoir. Staff were super helpful and patient when I had some user error problems with the ebike (my first time riding one, and I was thankful for the recommendation with the amount of climbing). Had a good day riding, really glad I made the journey out there!”

The speed (40mph) is absolutely insane. Passing cars on your bike is a thrilling experience. The classic look and attention to detail turns heads each and every time you hit the road. Riding solo is freeing, yet having a partner join you is something else. With the Roadster I doubled down and got my wife the Tracker. We have only had the bikes for the past two weeks, and I haven't stopped smiling since.Vintage bikes are not cheap. Matter of fact they are more of an investment. However, you truly get what you pay for and I honestly can't think of a better way to invest your money than on a piece of art that also brings you 40mph of pure joy!”

Colin gave good advice and possible upgrade options including what bike travel bag we should get. Chris did an awesome job with the fitting based on your preferences. Finally, a staff member (sorry forgot his name) helped us in getting the bike ready in the travel bag. 200% recommended!”

“Bike fit went smoothly and quick. Bike selection is great from road to cruise or mountain. They have Cervelo, Bianchi, pinarello & specialized when I went. They have presumably more but I was only looking at road bikes. They even have the Dogma X in store. I would definitely come back again.”

“We went to the store at Palo Alto. Alex was very patience explaining to us about everything related to bike. It's true fixing bike in this area is expensive, but you have to pay the proper labor rate per hour for them to survive living in this area. So there's no way around. As long they deliver the service, you just have to pay the Palo Alto rate.”

“I went today for service. The guy who looked at it was very nice. He rode the bike and figured it out what the problem was right away. Then he told me how to fix it which was super easy. This happened after leaving my bike with another shop for over an hour and they couldn't even tell me when they would look at it. I will definitely bring my bike back here.”
“I purchased a Specialized commuter from now-closed Menlo Velo (RIP) less than two years ago. About three weeks ago I noticed a failed weld on the frame. I called Palo Alto Cycles and they instructed me to no longer ride that bike , as it could potentially break mid-ride. I brought the bike in and Christian worked his magic to get Specialized to honor the two-year warranty and ship me a new bike. The shop did a great job building the new bike and transferring components from my old bike. They even replaced the break components since Specialized had sent a bit of a lemon break-wise (they leaked). Christian and the guys at Palo Alto Cycles went above and beyond with the new bike , and may have even saved my life with their advice to not ride the broken bike. Hats off to them. Honestly I was very impressed with their service.”

The bike rides smooth as silk. They do 3 free tune ups the first year and lifetime safety checks. Milo?lets you know when he needs an ear scratch.”

“I spoke with my Chris King rep with any locations that were nearby to service my chris king hubs. I walked in with my ENVE 5.6 with chris king hubs and wanted my bottom bracket replaced. I brought my own parts and Brian returned my 2023 Sworks Tarmac sl7 the next day! They don't usually service road bikes so call ahead. I will be back fs! ??”
