I’ve been a customer of Citibank for almost 20 years and have had nothing less than great customer service. The whole team have been ready to help me answering my questions in person or on the phone. They know me well and I know them well and great appreciate them.

If there was zero rating that's what I would give. Absolutely incompetent people work there including managers. Know one has an answer for anything I will never bank there again. Including having any credit cards associated with them.

Terrible over the phone customer service. its all call center and they dont speak clear English each time Ive called, then they talk over you, cant really help after spending 30 minutes on the phone. Ever the read back from script is not clear, and there is no way to get them to back up what they say in a email or similar. Ive been trying other banks out and I dont think I will leave me money here very long after I get the bonus $$ from the promotional period

Customer service was good, they were nice but I went into the branch and opened my account my name was spelled wrong (not by me) even though I had identification now they are shutting down my account saying I violated the client handbook they give out when I have done nothing with the account except fund it with cash one time so far now the misspelling of my name has cost me an account

I waited and waited at their bank on Harbor and finally gave up and drove to the 17th Street location. The guys at Citibank on 17th were professional in every way and provided exactly what I needed. Very satisfied.

I've been a member of Citibank for more than 20 years if I've ever had a problem they were quick to resolve it. The staff is very friendly in every office I've ever been into and I do go to at least 10 of them on a monthly basis. great bank, probably number one in the top 10.

Terrible customer service since new branch manager Mr. Christopher Valdez took over.Opened an acct on Feb 5, requested checks. No checks arrived, called and left msg, no reply. Went in to see Mr. Valdez on Feb 22, he promised it would arrive before 25, still no checks. Left msg again to his direct msg on Feb 28, still no answer.Checks finally arrived on March 5!!!!

Horrible credit card, corporate or private. Pain in the a** to use it. Constant interruptions in service .Avoid it !

A friend of mine has banked with Citibank for almost 30 years and recommended I open an account with them. This is a great bank to do business with, and at this location on 17th st in NB they have the friendliest and most helpful tellers. Maria R. especially is always sweet and helpful, always with a smile and very thorough as well. I never thought I would find myself yelping about or recommending a bank..but here it is : )

Horrible customer service at this branch. Christopher Valdez and his crew of troglodytes should be stocking shelves in a warehouse or cleaning dishes, they certainly do not have the intellect to deal with simple bank transactions.

People are nice, but the Citibank way of doing things stinks! I have an IRA account from years ago when it was California Federal. Local branches can no longer handle IRA accounts and paperwork must be faxed to their office in San Antonio, which the banker at this branch assured me he would do... but he didn't. I called the next day to check and the teller said he would handle it as soon as he finished with a customer, but ... he didn't. I called Citibank in Sana Antonio and they never received the paperwork.
