“I lived there for a year. It was great, I genuinely had an excellent experience there. I do want to say however that the maintenance team lead by Jose are my absolute hero’s! They went above and beyond in not just maintaining my apartment but when I was moving both in and out. Seriously next level help that I just could not have expected. So thank you Jose this shoutout is genuinely for you man. You’re my guy and Ava is lucky to have you!”

“UPDATE - 10/29/23: I'm updating my review to say that I wish I could give Mesa Pines a zillion stars - five is not enough! I first lived at Mesa Pines between 2015 and 2019, only moving out because I got a job that was too far away for a comfortable commute. Shortly after, the world dissolved into chaos with Covid-19, along with the market for renters! At the tail end of 2021, it was almost impossible to move somewhere new if you were looking to rent. After going through a divorce and suddenly finding myself in need of a place to live, I reached out to Dora to see if there would possibly be a place for me at Mesa Pines. Like the true gem she is, Dora not only understood my situation - she also managed to find me the perfect unit that was in my price range, met my needs, and felt like home. It even came with a small yard for my emotional support dog, which was a massive plus! I also have to give Dora, her team, and Pan American props for creating a community that is diverse, welcoming, and accepting of folks who may need ESAs or service animals without stigma. Every support animal I've met here has been incredibly well-trained, friendly, and respectful.I truly cannot say enough good things about Mesa Pines, and that's all thanks to Dora and her property management skills. If you have an issue - even a minor one - Dora will go above and beyond to get it addressed in a timely manner. The maintenance team here is so wonderful and is fantastic at what they do, whether that's inspecting AC units, repairing fences, or investigating plumbing issues. It's never a "band aid" approach to fixing issues when Dora is in charge - she knows the history of the building from top to bottom and knows how to get things done the first time! She is without a doubt the BEST on-site manager I've ever had. I honestly believe that if Dora were in charge of every apartment complex on earth, we would probably have flying cars and world peace. She's that awesome. In addition, the tenants here are the best! Everyone is very very friendly - you see a lot of familiar faces and people look out for each other. Once people come to Mesa Pines, they tend to stay, because it's VERY hard to leave once you're here!!! I often say that if I could, I would pick Mesa Pines up and transport it to every other place I've wanted to live. I'm not sure of the statistics, but I'd be willing to bet that most folks who leave do so because of new jobs, starting families and requiring more space, or something similar that's unrelated to Mesa Pines itself. We're also in a really fantastic location. There's a bike path right by our cul de sac and a big park (Tanager Park) less than a mile away where lots of families, pups, and children like to play. Mesa Pines is also right off of Harbor, so we're close to lots of shops and restaurants - we have a great tailor and Italian place in the complex right next to us, plus a Vons, post office, and CVS that's a minute away. For those who may have service or support dogs, the Bark Park is a five minute drive away from Mesa Pines if they need to stretch their legs. It really is super centrally located without being jam packed near somewhere like the Triangle.Lastly, I really do feel like the rents I've paid have been reasonable here compared to the market. Rents nationwide have skyrocketed over the past decade and Mesa Pines is no exception to that rule. We do have rent increases, which are sometimes tough to swallow, but are pretty standard for any rental community and for the economy we're living in. You also get quite a bit for what you pay: fully equipped kitchens (mine came with a dishwasher/oven/microwave/fridge), beautiful renovations (hardwood floors/updated cabinets and counters), a wall AC unit, and I believe every unit comes with either a patio or a balcony (with some also having small yards). Maintenance is great about keeping both the pool and the jacuzzi super clean, and there's a community barbecue right by the pool an”

“I'm going on 3 years at Eastside and still love it. Lee / Community Manager is so responsive, kind and welcoming. Top- notch at her job...and approach to life. Raul is excellent...often fixes your request the same day. And he goes above and beyond. I accidentally tossed my phone in our complex trash bin, and he graciously found it for me..after picking through the refuse. I can't speak highly enough about the team...and the property!”

“Former resident but commenting on a recent experience I had with management. I had accidentally sent an expensive package here by mistake. Chris in management was responsive and really helpful. He answered my calls and even helped me carry 150lbs my package inside. I think this amount of helpfulness was beyond my expectations and tells me this place has come a long way.”

“Orange Bay Apartments is home! The complex is located next to the "downtown" of Costa Mesa and walking distance to many restaurants. Not far from the beach, the complex has so much to offer for all age types. Management is always so responsive during any sort of needs. They are quick to assist with any maintenance requirements - I recently had an issue with my water heater and it was replaced in a timely manner with no hassle. I love my apartment, the other tenants are so respectful and I truly enjoy my time here (great parking access for guests also!!)”

“Honestly love living here. I moved here 7 months ago. The neighbors are kind and courteous. We all stay to ourselves but still keep an eye on one another's apartments. The outside paint color is way outdated and ugly. It's an old building. But, the maintenance crew keeps it clean and tidy. They even mop the long hallways on all three floors. The manager is pretty tough herself. She takes no crap from anyone and runs things very tightly. She can be rude at times, but honestly, in the long run, it pays off. Of course, there's things I could make a scene about, but at the end of the day, if you are looking for a quite, relaxing, neighbor friendly complex, this is it. I plan to be here for a while and don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. As long as you pay your rent on time, abide by the rules, you're good to go. No guest parking is makes parking for guests hard, but I feel that's what keeps it from becoming a party town. Don't park in a spot that is not yours cause she will tow it with no hesitation. It may not be the OC fancy looking, but it satisfies my living needs and that's all that matters.”

“I have been living here for over a. year now and this place is probably one of the best gated community around this area. I m glad I found this hidden paradise right at the end of the 19th St, so close to the Santa Ana River trail so I could bike to the beach in 3 miles!! The whole complex is well maintained pretty much every week. I love that the pool is right in the middle of the complex so you don't really have to walk far to the pool. I live in the top floor and I love that I could see the pool right from my balcony, it's like a resort style. This place is pretty quiet, definitely not a party place, it's like after a night of partying at nearby Triangle Square and bars, you want to come home and unwind. Their Studio is great size for one person, 2 person max since there aren't enough storage space and the kitchen is pretty small, good that I don't do whole lot of cooking, just give me a microwave and a air fryer and I am good to go!! ha haa I love that they don't have carpet floor anymore, it's so difficult to clean. I love that their mailbox is inside the complex and not the outside so no one could steal our mails, that's the thing people should consider when looking for an apartment. People love to steal mails now and days. I also love that you can use your app to pay for the washer and dryer inside the Laundry room. Although they only have 5 washers and 6 dryers,I rarely have any issues fighting for a machine. The only thing I didn't like about this complex is they don't have any guest parking inside the complex, street parking outside is very limited, your guest might have to park a block down by Whittier ave. Overall this is a great place to live in for a single person up to small family. Although the price is a little high but it's worth it”

“I lived at this property and really enjoyed my stay there. Melissa at the leasing office was very helpful and always ready to assist. She made the move-out process really easy for me! Sal the maintenance supervisor was very helpful too. He responds quickly to any request with a smile on his face.”

“I have been living here for last 6 months in a spacious 2 Bed 1 Bath apartment. I love the layout of the apartment and the staff who're honest and respond swiftly. Having a quiet neighborhood and a comforting canopy, it evokes a sense of serenity to walk into the premise.”

“3400 has been our home for over ten years and we recently renewed our lease—guess that says it all. The management and maintenance crews are friendly, professional, and efficient. The amenities and resort-like grounds are gorgeous, lush, and well maintained. We also love that it’s a smoke-free community. The neighborhood greenways are a walk away to everything from shopping, eclectic eateries, entertainment, and OCMA right across the street. The only thing missing is an ocean view.”

“I went in today to look at an apartment and Jason helped me. From the moment I spoke with him on the phone, to the moment I walked in, he made me feel so comfortable and so at ease about every single thing. He was not only professional, but so knowledgeable about all the amenities that the facility has to offer! I just am moving to OC and am so happy that I found Jason and these apartments. I had been on the hunt for days and once I spoke with Jason, came to Camden Martinique , I knew that I was finally home. Jason made my experience so wonderful and delightful. I am so excited and I am moving in this weekend. I could go on and on about Jason and the wonderful hospitality him and his staff provided for me when I was there. Thank you so much Jason and I am so grateful I met you! It's hard now a days to find good people and when you do it's rare. Jason you are the BEST!!LoveJamie and Bentley”

“The staff that run this building (as well as The Huntington and The Havens) are amazing! I've been working with Patty, Melinda and Kylie trying to find an apartment for my daughter in southern California. I'm doing this from a distance (in Minnesota). They have taken so many calls, texts and inquiries from me and have been so efficient, professional and extremely kind in helping me navigate an otherwise stressful process. These three women love their jobs and speak extremely highly of their employer and the buildings they represent. Their passion for what they do comes through in the care that they show to their prospective tenants. They truly shine and they make me feel very fortunate for my daughter that she will be living in such a safe and caring community.”
