Wanted to love this cute, but expensive, Coronado Island hotel. However, if you're not a late-night party animal, you might be very annoyed by the loud Mexican restaurant on the property, and the late night revelers returning LOUDLY at 2 AM. Also, the parking being a few blocks away really sucks - and it's $40 a night!

What a fantastic experience. Derek at the front desk was so accommodating and so kind. The rooms are fantastic and the location cannot be beat. 5 stars all around.

Staying at El Cordova felt like stepping back in time to earlier days in So. California. Lots of great restaurants on site and our room was very comfortable. Coronado Beach is just two blocks away.
