Thai Del Mar Restaurant
2754 East Coast Hwy, Corona Del MarI finally tried Thai Del Mar tonight after passing by several times, and I’m really glad I did. It’s literally next door to Johnny Pizza, so it’s easy to find.
The food was way better than Bamboo Bistro, which is supposed to be popular but honestly wasn’t enjoyable to me at all.
I ordered the Pad Thai and egg rolls, and both were really good flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. I was actually happy while eating, which says a lot.
The service really stood out as well. Patrick helped me, and he was very kind, soft-spoken, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
They mentioned they have fried banana for dessert, so I’m planning on coming back tomorrow to try that. Overall, I’m really happy I gave this place a chance and will definitely be returning.

Rendez Vous French Bakery and Cafe
3330 East Coast Hwy, Corona Del MarWas in Newport Beach a couple of weeks ago and stumbled on this bakery. My boyfriend and I went in and found amazing pastries and a nice lunch. The owner was up front and her and the staff were so helpful. Had to take some to go on our way out of Newport. Look forward to going back.
