Gary's New York Deli

Went to Gary's New York Deli. Got to try the pastrami sandwich. We got to sit in the back patio area where there is plenty of shade and a table to sit at. Our dog ? Penny ate with us . We were welcomed with some turkey for her. Everyone was very friendly and we are excited to try more items next time. The sandwiches are very filling and plenty of drinks to choose from. After lunch, we walked to Inspiration Point and it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach. You see everyone's beautiful homes on the walk to there and we enjoyed it.

Reborn Coffee - Corona Del Mar

I needed a pick me up so I came to Reborn Coffee since I was in Corona Del Mar. I tried the strawberry matcha and I do appreciate how much strawberry puree was in it! I wish it was a tad sweeter but if you like something not sweet and also matcha then this is for you. The caramel cold brew latte was really tasty and super creamy! I loved how thick the foam was on top.

Really liking the updated options for fro yo in the neighborhood. I am especially happy that they added a non dairy option, I only wish it would switch flavors more. To be fair I have only been in there over the past two months and its been pink lemonade the whole time. Its overly sweet but non dairy beggars cant be choosers so I will still get it. Hoping to find a new option in the future. The place looks clean and organized and the people working there do a good job. Tip: be sure to tell them in advance if you are taking it to go to get the lid on properly.

The shrimp roll was good. The beach corn lacked flavor. My kids had the burger and while I didn't taste it, it looked good. I would not drive out of my way to eat here, but it was a great option for eating at the beach. It's nice to have an option for hot, fresh food during a beach day.

came back here to celebrate my mom's birthday! I really love this place because everything is farm to table or sustainably sourced :) i got the herb roast jidori chicken. it was so juicy and flavorful!! the skin was also incredibly crispy. we got the pizza of the day for the table (apple and prosciutto balsamic glaze) and it was a hit. the flavors perfectly complement each other! the sea scallops, mussels, and shrimp linguini was very hearty. the tomato and spinach sauce it had was very inviting and paired well when dipped with the garlic ciabatta bread. the flat iron steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! it was super juicy and had an interesting herb-y taste~ we finished with a warm chocolate cake and some chocolate earl grey ice cream! the place is so magical at night because of all the string lighting~ it kind of feels like I'm at a rustic themed wedding! it's very aesthetically pleasing and pretty. service is also good! waitstaff is attentive and professional and polite! herb roast jidori chicken: 8.5/10 apple prosciutto pizza: 9/10 sea scallop linguini: 8.5/10 flat iron steak: 8/10 chocolate cake: 8/10 chocolate earl grey ice cream: 8.5/10 (a bit too icy but flavor is 10/10)

It was so yum! Took my 93 yr old mom who raised me on healthy delicious food like Jan's. My mom still very physically healthy due to a clean lifestyle but cannot make those meals anymore due to Alzheimers, but for me and her it a was nice memory to hang out at Jan's We will be back for sure soon.

Fresh Brothers Pizza Newport Beach

We came over from Roger's Gardens starving! They were having a promotion for a new type of pizza. They gave us two pieces each just for walking through the door. ( two type pepperoni and also a sausage pizza) We came to buy a pizza and that is what we did. The Pesto artichoke chicken OMG! So good. We'd never been to this restaurant before and will be back at a location closer to us. The prices are pizza prices so don't expect cheap cheap. You'll definitely get what you pay for

Update 10/15/24 - ordered a turkeybin wheat sandwich combo, coffee & fries. All good & tasty! The inside ordering area has some seating but most sit comfortably in the gorgeously mild California wearher outside. Umbrellas & space heaters provide extra comfort as needed. There's also an exterior order/pickup window for takeout. The inside eat-in order starion has been modernized & updated very nicely, allowing their pastries & other baked goods to be prominently displayed. The rear building side restrooms were clean & adequately maintained. Rose's is a quaint little cafe that is doing things well. It's in a convenient location close to the local public library, post office, area shopping, & just a few blocks from the CDM Main Beach.

Hands down my most favorite juice cleanse! Just finished the three day superfood juice cleanse and I am feeling incredible! Every single juice was delicious and all the food was fresh and tasted amazing! I honestly can not believe how much energy I had through out the day. I was still able to run and weight lift. Though weight loss was not my intended goal I did drop three pounds and feel less bloated and puffy all around. Thank you Kelly and Sejuiced Team!
