Just Food For Dogs
3037 Edinger Ave, TustinStopped by here last Tuesday after my vet visit, and the service here was top-notch. There was a member of the team--I unfortunately don't know her name--but she was super nice, helpful, and warm towards my pet and I. I drove all the way from L.A, to the vet cardiologist that day, and was in a rush so I completely forgot to bring my pup's food. This store was conveniently located next-door so decided to stop by. The kind store associate recommended some options for my senior pup, the lamb meal, and he absolutely loved it; and he's a super picky eater, too! She made sure to recommend the best option, as she would go back and forth to ask the team what would be best based on information I gave about my pup's condition--which I appreciated the thoughtfulness! They also have a snack bar, including samples of their treat bags. My dog ended up loving the Venison treats so purchased the whole bag, and our trip back to L.A was a success--thanks to the delicious snacks that my doggo could munch on for the 50+ miles trip back home. The store associate went above and beyond. I asked if they had a spare bowl (since I forgot to bring his food) and I just expected a disposable/paper bowl but she ended up giving me a super nice bowl, by JustFoodForDogs, for free! She just wanted my pup to have his meal right away so that was just super duper sweet of her!!! Thanks to the bowl, my buddy absolutely devoured his meal on our drive back home and even licked his bowl clean at the end :p Additionally, even after purchase, she said to feel free to give more snacks to my pup at the snack bar which was very kind of her. You can tell by their actions and sweet words that they truly love pets (even though my boy was barking at her) and not just in it for business purposes. Very admirable and refreshing to see! They strive to make the experience welcoming, comfortable, and best suitable for your pet's needs. This is the kind of business that makes me want to return, even though they are far from me! I highly recommend the food from here because they have high quality-ingredients that are so clean and simple that you can almost eat it! haha, just jokes but it is named JUSTFOODfordogs for a reason (don't take it too literally) ;) My buddy loved it more than his raw, freeze-dried food at home so that's how you know it's picky-eater approved. He probably thinks I'm giving him some of my human food!! Make sure your pets' food come from companies that carefully craft ingredients & genuinely care for your dog's wellbeing and health, just like JustFoodForDogs. Thank you for making my visit memorable :) You guys were the best and the sweetest.

Newport Pet Clinic: Bass, Arthur VMD
13011 Newport Ave UNIT 107, TustinWe took our cat Honey here after having an iffy experience with another vet, and I'm so glad we did! I can tell the doctors and vet techs truly care about their patients. Dr Beaudet answered all of our questions (and there were a lot) and was even available for questions via email. I think the prices here are very reasonable and we have always been able to get an appointment within a few days. I wish they were open on Saturdays to make scheduling a little easier, but overall this is an amazing pet clinic that truly cares!

Tustin Legacy Animal Hospital
15100 Kensington Park Dr Ste 520, TustinAs I'm waiting for Spookys test results, I decided to take a min. to leave a review because I've never felt so calm and reassuring of a place more than Tustin Legacy. As you walk in it's the cutest place, very warm and welcoming they had spookys room ready and on the door they had a welcome sign for him with a spooky house/a ghost and a spider web?. From staff to the vet not once did I feel pressured to paying for things I didn't want. They give you a few options and you chose what you want done. I have found his forever hospital.

Animal Diagnostic Laboratory - Lab For Pets
15052 Red Hill Ave Ste E, TustinAfter suddenly and very unexpectedly losing our young cat, we reached out to Lab for Pets and were able to bring him to the facility on the same day for necropsy (postmortem) services. The pathologist was very kind, communicative and transparent about the entire process (our first time going through this type of process). The final lab report was emailed to us and I received a phone call from the pathologist on the same day the report was emailed, where he spent time explaining the findings and making the report easier to understand. The pathologist also offered guidance and recommendations for the surviving littermate, given the results. The remains were then Fed Ex'ed overnight to us because we live in a different county and so we wouldn't have to drive back up to get them. They were beautifully and thoughtfully packaged as well. A lot of love seemed to go into that final part. I would very much recommend Lab for Pets for their necropsy and other services. They are professional and caring, especially during a very emotional process such as this. Thanks again

Veterinary Surgical Specialists
2965 Edinger Ave, TustinOur 6-year-old large breed dog began experiencing intermittent limping last year. A neighbor suggested she might need TPLO surgery and recommended VSS. When the limp became persistent we made an appointment and she was seen within a few days by Dr. Sebestyen. He detected the joint failure in the X-rays taken by our vet, and after a physical evaluation. She had surgery the following week. Patience and vigilance are key to a good recovery. An unsupervised dog can jeopardize healing of the surgical wound within a few minutes. Total healing took about 6 months, but she was "good as new" after that. We celebrated with a hike through Little Lakes Valley in the Sierras, and are so thankful that our senior dog can enjoy an active lifestyle again. Everyone at VSS was kind and professional, and our every concern during the healing process was taken seriously and evaluated. We are very thankful that we had access to such quality care for our dog.

Echo Vet Cardio
2965 Edinger Ave, TustinI was referred to Echo Vet Cardio when my dog Harley began to cough violently and suddenly. I rushed to the emergency hospital where I dropped him off for the evening with grim hope he would pull through. He made it through the night but due to the emergency vet being only open 8 PM to 8 AM I had to find somewhere Harley could continue to remain on a dopamine drip to continue his treatment. Several vet offices later and no dopamine I was finally referred to Echo Vet cardio. I should mention while I was at the emergency vet the second one I had been to that morning, a call to see if we could fit me in was made and Dr. Jung was kind enough to tell me to come right over and he would squeeze me in between patients. I couldn’t get there fast enough.Upon arriving to Echo Vet Cardio I met Jenna who couldn’t be more sweet, she walked us right back to a room and told me Dr. Jung would be with me. Harley was taken back from his Exam and testing and I waited nervously. Dr. Jung came in bringing Harley back with him. He explained to me in detail, and a language I could understand not a bunch of medical jargon. Harley is in CHF and we would do what we could to try and manage it. He was compassionate and caring when I broke down crying explaining this was my baby (I don’t have children) and I’ve had his for 19 years. He didn’t make me feel uncomfortable or awkward for being so emotional. He instead gave me words of encouragement but was realistic in what was going on. I have continued to see Dr. Jung consistently and a month ago I was really feeling like I’d have to let Harley go. I am so happy to say Harley is still here. I’m forever grateful that Dr. Jung has given me more time with Harley. It’s been a bumpy road and that’s not due to any error in Dr. Jung’s treatment. As another reviewer said I know I am on borrowed on time due to Harley’s age. I truly could not find one thing bad to say about them. The staff is some of the kindest people I have ever met, and they are so good with Harley. I will gladly bring my other animals here should they need cardio treatment and highly recommend Dr. Jung and his staff to anyone looking for cardiology care for their pet. Harley and I are both so grateful we found Echo Vet Cardio so we both get to spend more time with one another. Thank you Dr. Jung I am eternally grateful for all you and your staff have done to support and help Harley.

Pet Sitting & Training
EveryDog
3065 Edinger Ave, TustinI could not recommend Everydog more. I started researching puppy schools and training options throughout the area when we knew we were going to be getting our Australian Labradoodle in the coming weeks. Everydog was further away from our home than others, but I loved Dave’s (the owner) philosophy and felt more comfortable with him than anyone else I spoke to. He was very quick to respond to the (many) questions I had and took time to explain in detail the different programs and training strategies. When we finally did get our pup (her name is Pip) Dave came to our house to meet her the very next day. He was not only calm and nurturing to Pip, who adored him from the first minute she met him, but he was very patient with our three children and me and my husband (we have a tendency to be overly anxious when it comes to such things as raising a dog). We scheduled quite a few one-on-one training sessions with him at our home, as well as enrolling Pip in the EveryPup program they offer which allows puppies to play with each other, socialize, and get a training session with the primary trainer, Rad. To say our experience with Everydog has been wonderful would be an understatement. Pip’s tail starts wagging the second we pull up to the facility (which is clean, and welcoming, and filled with dogs who look like they are having the absolute time of their lives) and then we are able to watch her frolic, play and learn in the hours she is there on the cameras they have stationed in every room. Rad sends us a detailed email after each training session including videos (that are actually of Pip – not generic ones!) and notes of how we can be continuing the training at home. The staff is so lovely and we can tell how much they love our girl, taking the best care of her while she is there. In fact, we were supposed to go on a family holiday in the weeks after we got Pip and I truly believed I would be staying home with her in order to avoid leaving her quickly. Instead, we talked with Dave in detail about whether he thought it was a good idea to board her at Everydog while we were away. He did not immediately say yes, but rather encouraged us to do a trial night which would allow him and the staff to get a better understanding of her comfort there. Dave does not want a dog to be stressed, and I truly believe had Pip showed signs of being so when she was there for her trail, he would have advised me not to go or board her just yet. Instead, they went above and beyond to make sure that she had the time of her life and was as comfortable as she would be at home while we were gone. It’s such a good feeling to know someone cares about your dog and is not just there to make a profit.Recently, I took Pip to pick up the kids from school. It’s a chaotic environment with lots of people, dogs, and children running and screaming. Pip sat by my side, greeting people only when they came up to her, and then skillfully walked on her leash back with me, through the crowds of people. I had many come up to me and tell me what a well behaved puppy we had and how lucky we were. But it is not just her disposition, it is the skilled love and care that Dave, Rad, and the entire staff at Everydog have put into our girl that has made her thrive. Everydog is a very special place and I feel so, so lucky we found it.

Golden Days Pet Services
1443 Georgia St, TustinMichael is great with all the dogs and all of the employees seem to genuinely love each of the animals. This is the only place I’ve ever left any of my dogs where they almost seem to want to stay there instead of coming back home with me. The home is set up in a manner that caters to the animals and along with whichever other pets might be staying there at the time, Michael’s dog Bella is such a sweetheart and you can rest assured your dog has a friend with them at almost any time whether they prefer another 4-legged friend or a human companion to pass the time while they eagerly await your return. I would recommend Golden Days to anyone who needs somewhere safe and fun for their pet to stay whether you’ll be gone for just the day or you’re taking a long vacation but can’t bring your pet along with you. Give this place a try whether you need it or not, your pet will love it and will thank you for taking them somewhere special.
