Katria with Suburban propane was awesome. We have a new baby at home and with this power outage, we were concerned our home generator would run out of juice. Their delivery drivers phone was out due to the power outage so she sourced another delivery driver to come to our rescue! She was able to set up a propane delivery the next day before 12PM. She saved the day! Thank you for your great service!

Would probably be a great business if they ever answered the phone. Tried calling her for about 3 weeks, 3 days a week and never got more than transferred to the national service center, which was unable to contact the local office either. The other guys worked out just fine for both of our new projects. The only truism about customer service is that people talk about very good service for about 2 weeks. A poor experience averages about 11 years.

I recently moved into a home that ran on propane, I called Suburban and they gave me a tank with less then 15% of a fill and was told that someone was going to come out and refill no one ever showed. I had to call and remind them to fill my tank they came on 12/27/2021. I was told they only refill to 80% due to safety measures. According to Darrel Manager Of the Concord branch 80% is 231 gallons. My refill was 252.6 gallons Over that amount, @ $655.61. When signing up they have something called auto refill at 10-20%. Which means at 10-20% they come out and check your tank and refill if needed. Left in use today 2/11/2022 132gallons They come and refill my tank at over 50% left and charge another $311.45. Darrel said it was my fault and all he can do is take me off auto pay. He was very unprofessional. I was so upset I asked for my money back so I can go to a company I can afford. He ordered for my propane tank to be picked up and took the money that I paid just yesterday and sent an email saying it was an early cancelation fee. That I was intitled to no reimbursement.I will Never refer anyone here again. As the previous reviews state maybe the next person looking for propane may want to look else where.

Very disappointed in Suburban. Called to see if they could re-certify my propane tank. They said yes, but needed to add me as a customer and put me in their database. Spent 5-10 minutes on this process. Then they said they would call me back and never did. Not sure how they stay in business if they don’t call back customers.

FAke reviews apparently, was told by darrel he was the cheapest company around and i found out this company is two dollars more expensive than amerigas and kemps and has horrible service. So much attitude and negativity for expensive gas.

There's a big issue with store 1645 in Concord. Monopolistic practices.Without warning, they raised their price 252% from our last fill just a month and a half ago. They invoiced us for over twice the current average for the area, an average we offered to pay, but they refuse work with us.It's really shady.Don't fall for it.EDIT:Suburban Propane asked me to contact them below. I called and emailed immediately. In the call, they stuck to their extremely high invoice price. They have not responded to my email. Why would they “offer support” publicly here in reviews and then not follow through?

The huge price increase happened to me too. Previously I had always been very pleased with their service; Cindy, their driver, was always a pleasure. Then suddenly a huge, unexplained price hike and when I called to question this I was told to basically “ take it or leave it”. A complete change of their local management business model.

This company is ridiculous They went to my friends mom's house filled her propane tanks for generator and charged her almost 6.00 a gallon No call to say they were coming Just filled the tanks and left the bill stuck in garage door. He called and got nothing... rude manager in Brewster. Needless to say he will be switching to a more friendly family owned company who has better service and better prices Shame on you !!!! And to add insult to injury, she just lost her husband a little over a month ago

Based on their web site I thought they would still be open to the public to get my gas grill 20 pound tanks refilled with propane...but there is a sign at the facility indicating they are not servicing the public during the COVID pandemic...I should have called first!

I arrived at 4:10 for gas and an employee told me that they stop at 4 pm and that only the girls were left inside. I was disappointed.
