“Post.script is the perfect spot when you're looking for a unique gift for a special friend or just browsing for something fun for yourself. Tucked away off of busy Fillmore Street, there is a wide range of offerings packed into this small spot. The selections are well-curated and can be both practical and wonderfully decorative at the same time. During a recent trip, I picked up several of the Baggu brand reusable bags, as they carry a good selection of these bags. I also found some lovely glassware and whimsical geometric coasters for the perfect birthday gift. The staff was also helpful and courteous, as they have been on all my trips there. Along with checking out the fun gift cards and writing instruments, one can spend a lot of time perusing the different and interesting selections of hair accessories, as well as attractive items for decorating the home. The variety of items and reasonable price points make post.script a spot not to be missed.”
“I came here just to check it out on a whim and it ended being exactly what I've been looking for. A lot of fragrance places have poor service,aren't knowledgeable, and did have a great selection of niche fragrances. This place had knowledge, had great selection, and absolutely great service. Really some of the best service I've ever had and the people are so kind. I even ended buying Xerjoff Erba Pura. I really recommend this place!!”
“Yury is excellent at lamp repair and very reasonable. I am glad I trusted him with putting all new electrics in my antique desk lamp. Getting rid of the frayed cord and brittle socket, and replacing with new parts that match the old parts is fantastic.”
“Today, we ordered flowers to be delivered to a dear friend's mother, who is in a nursing facility. They delivered the flowers a very short time after ordering and sent us both confirmation of the order and a confirmation that they were delivered. Wonderful customer service!!!!! “A few words about Luke, the salesperson we worked with at ANA. On the internet, we found some end tables we thought would match a bed we had bought elsewhere. Luke was able to verify that it would, and sent us pictures to reassure us. Since we live 60 miles away, and delivery would have been prohibitively expensive, we wanted to make sure the tables were moved to the showroom from the warehouse before we travelled there. Once again, Luke double checked before we drove in. Once there, Luke obliged us when we asked to open the box to make sure the pieces were undamaged. Sadly, one of them had been crunched on an edge despite considerable packing. Luke offered us a floor model as a replacement and gave us a considerable discount. He even helped us put the tables in the car. We rarely have encountered such a careful and considerate salesperson. The showroom is spacious and well laid out, if a bit bare bones. Prospective clients are advised to call ahead and make sure you know how to get into the parking lot, which is gated at the end of a dead end street. Street parking is difficult. Prices are competitive. We were stuck by how the same pieces at other stores are marked up higher than at ANA. Overall, ANA is well worth a trip downtown.”
“Inga was a great help in selecting fixtures for an entire home while we were preparing it for sale last year. She made what could have been an overwhelming task so much easier, with her expert suggestions. I know from experience there is a lot that can go wrong with selecting light fixtures... from not enough light, to wrong scale, and more. Inga kept us from making costly mistakes, and the project turned out great. The customer service was excellent, and there's nothing like being able to see the actual fixtures in person at the store before you order them. Inga helped us pick out at least 12 sets of lights, and we didn't have to return or change any of them. When a glass shade was broken for one of the fixtures, she got us a replacement quickly. I highly recommend using Inga's design services. For a larger project like ours, she might visit your site in person. Otherwise, you will need to send her photos.”

“Scandinavian Designs is a reliable source for high quality good value furniture. Most recently, I needed to find a bed frame for my kid who has found their own place. Here we found something they really liked for a reasonable price. Mei Lieng helped us when we came in on Dec. 24, thank you for being there on the Holiday. Everyone is so helpful and the products are very nice for your home. If you find something you like there, you should buy it.”

“I love Cliff's. It's such a fun store. I go here for almost all of my hardware needs. And sometimes just to browse (Warning: You'll be hard pressed not to purchase anything if you're just browsing. So much cool stuff here.) The very best thing about Cliff's, though, hands down are its knowledgeable and friendly staff. Case in point: Last year, while cleaning our bathroom, I accidentally broke our porcelain toilet bowl (yikes!). I'm not handy and Googled info on how to fix it. I then went to Cliff's to purchase what I needed to patch it up until the toilet bowl could be replaced. When I got to Cliff's, there were a lot of different glue and tape options available and I wasn't quite sure what to buy. Should be simple, right? But would they all work on porcelain? Did I need something waterproof? Of all these options, what was best for my situation? One of the staff and he was happy to give me some guidance. He helped me choose the right products and then gave me advice on how to use them. His advice was spot on. While you may save a couple of bucks by ordering stuff online, the invaluable advice that you get from places like Cliff's isn't something you're going to get from Amazon. Grateful that gems like these still exist.”

“This is a relatively new addition to downtown Millbrae, and though I don't see myself buying anything from here in the immediate future ... never say never, especially because not only is our house full of all sorts of Southg Asian and Asian decor, but there've been all sorts of occasions when we've popped into one of these places. It's neatly laid out, and I get the sense that they're still ironing out the kinks in their interior. When we wandered in, they were fairly busy setting stuff up, and I didn't see stickers of prices on the items. I can imagine (and for their sake) hope they manage to do a brisk business here. Though I would've rather a food place had popped up here, for what it's worth, they have a large, albeit limited repertoire of decor and furniture items, that range more on the aesthetic side, than purely functional, though this might change as they expand their inventory. Btw., the space is fairly large, though it doesn't look it from the outside, because it's deep and vertically stacked, so it might be worth your while to walk all the way to the back.”
