Our first experience was great, very friendly staff and our dog loved it! This last experience had poor service. The staff seemed like they didn’t want to be there and opted to blank stare at customers obviously wanting help getting cookies from behind the counter.
The toys, feed, and accessories are all very nice items and there are options not available at larger corporate pet stores.

Rabbit Hole Hay

I had one bunny with pretty significant tummy sensitivities which is why I switched to Rabbit Hole Hay. His tummy sensitivities are gone and he is happier than ever. All three of them have beautiful, shiny coats I attribute to their hay. Very convenient subscription service.

I havent been living in chico, moved back and needed live rock for a saltwater tank and met daniel. This is an employee that deserves everything they need, he showed a genuine love for the hobby with a great knowledge of the aquatic pets available. What set daniel apart was his honesty, it's why ill be buying from petworks for anything and everything i can. As a freshwater hobbyist ive dealt with every disease and problem from a-z due to dishonesty from the store. Daniel let me know what the store has had problems with in the past, furthering my ability to mantain time frames for tank introduction and quarantine. Plus he's just such a nice and friendly person to hang out with.

2019 Forest Ave, ChicoI used the curbside pickup option for this visit. My order was out within a couple of minutes and the young lady that brought it out was very friendly. I'm not always able to go into a store for shopping as I am disabled and have trouble walking some days. This is a great option that I will use again. Thank you Petsmart!

2991 Esplanade #130, ChicoMy dog gets his nails trimmed at Mutt Cuts. He can be a handful and hates to have his nails trimmed. I've taken him other places and there have been times when the technition was unable to trim them. I have never had this issue with Mutt Cuts. They make quick work of his nails and he leaves very minimally stressed. I'm so grateful for these amazing professionals.

She sends text and photo AND video updates every day and I genuinely feel so much less stress knowing my Lu is in She is our go-to sitter and walker and is an absolute gem of a person who loves what she does.

High Tail Dog Training
52 Northwood Commons Pl, ChicoI have been doing private lessons with Baylie and my two Great Danes. My babes have been exceptionally fantastic since my lessons started. My walks with them have been far more enjoyable and less stressful, they are more attentive to me versus animals/people around us. Baylie knows what she is doing and I couldn’t have found a more experienced person to help me be a better owner for my dogs. They used to pull me, I had no control, and I was sending confusing signals to both my dogs. Baylie set me straight and I think my dogs like me more for it. If you are looking for a private trainer, high tail is your best choice! We are starting group lessons with high tail, and I look forward to further training of myself and doggos.

134 Broadway St, ChicoWhere to begin?! You MUST visit Sofi'z! We spent the weekend checking out Butte College and Chico State with our kids (17, 15, and 5). I'd read the reviews and love Pakistani food, so I knew that at some point we had to eat there. Our 5-year- old had been very... umm... 5 all day, so I was a bit nervous taking him to a sit down after the long weekend of waking and looking at buildings. From the minute we walked in, Sofi was warm and welcoming as if we were regulars. She quickly befriended our little one and from there, the entire experience became one we'll never forget. Somehow, we ended up celebrating our son's "early birthday" and he now has a "pet bird." Lol! We had nothing but smiles and laughter from our experience today... and I haven't even mentioned the food! My. Goodness. We told our daughter that she has to choose Chico just so we have an excuse to go back! Everything was so fresh and distinct in flavor. For our mains, we got butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. I don't know how many times I've ordered that combination at other restaurants and they come out tasting very similar. NOT the case at Sofi'z! They both were mouthwateringly delicious and had their own flavor, as if should be! The stuffed paradha and naan had my teens bartering to decide who got the last of it. For starters, we had samosas (best I've ever had) and Chana chaat with mint sauce (could eat it all day). The atmosphere, ambiance, hospitality, and quality of food will absolutely have my family visiting Sofi'z every opportunity we have. Thank you for an amazing ending to a big weekend for our family!

Small and low capacity, you can't help but find friendly folks to talk to. Great beers and live music rounded out the evening. We'll be back anytime we're in town.

379 E Park Ave, ChicoKind of sad when a business faith is dictated by reviews dating years and years ago. Kind of like herpes, if I may, they never seem to disappear, specially when said reviews are detrimental and no longer apply to the present.
Finally I went to this poorly rated establishment for their Taco Tuesday Special at $1.25 each.
I should add that previously someone brought to our place the Monday Special, Burger night, which at this day and age must admit was unbeatable and rather tasty. The kind of special that defies all odds. Also, previously as well had their Wednesday Chicken Wings Special. That one, sadly, a fiasco. Super dry wings, devoid of all appeal, but for the money the quantity was decent.
Anywho, Tackle Box simply rocks, and from the looks it distinguished itself as a truly unique scene. Staff reeked of good manners and friendly demeanor, which I must confess, truly appreciate. The shower singer in me wanted to get up on their stage and make a fool out of myself. The square footage truly mind altering, and the one question nagging me was: why the few and not so good comments? The bar alone is quite a sight!
Tacos: small but loaded, easy to devour but please no less than 6, or will wish it had been. Salsa, meats, sauce, not shabby at all. Staff, as happily mentioned, nice as can be. Restroom particularly clean and originally decorated. Heard Happy Hour beers run for $4 a piece? If so, it would take quite a few to tune ? up.
I thank the good man that drove us there. Karaoke Night Sundays? Buzzed enough I see no reason why I would not make a fool out of myself, God knows over the years I repeatedly have in good fun. Johnny Rivers “Poor Side of Town” seems about right. Tackle Box is an original, and from what I heard, the ownership which dates back and crew deserve plenty of recognition. 1 star 6 years ago, 10?

2412 Park Ave, ChicoPizza is amazing, but can take awhile, which is understandable when it's crowded. Also a bit pricey if you want to take the family out because pizzas are enough for any guy to eat too themselves. (We guys need food). The drinks are great because you get a drink card and you can sample from maybe 20+ beers, ciders, sours, hard kambucha, wines. I love coming here and just tasting. The outside is great for family and kids with their different lawn and board games. Live music depending on the days and tabletop firepits to add to romantic date nights and warmth. The brewery right next door has dollar shot days so you can pregame as well.

I grabbed some house-made granola to go with my latte, along with a couple of delicious slices of cake. The staff was super friendly, and they even gave us a complimentary cup of milk to pair with the granola. It's the perfect spot to stop in for a cozy cup of coffee!

I was only here in town for winter break, and this place left me an unforgettable experience! I'll forever cherish this little cafe with all my heart. It makes me happy just thinking about it. This was also the first cat cafe I ever visited ?
When I come back to norcal, I'll always make sure to ask my aunt if she could take me to this cafe every time! It has a special place in my heart ?

City of Chico Animal Shelter
2579 Fair St, ChicoWhat wonderful people and staff!. When my co-pilot and best friend Flash died on a Sunday afternoon they were there at my time of need. They were there for me when the Butte humane society dropped the ball. I was able to bring my loving friend to them so they could handle the cremation for me. I was only charged $128 which was a blessing during my time of grief and The cremation was handled beautifully and I have a beautiful box with a place for a photograph of him on the front thank you so much. Now I have also applied to be a foster parent. And I quickly became an adoptive parent with my first foster child. This is the beautiful Sequoia my new friend and canyon hiking buddy. We bonded quickly and becoming the best of friends. She's wonderful about people and other dogs. She's enjoying her new life outside of the shelter enjoying our daily hikes into the canyon. Interacting with residents of my apartment complex. Writing in our little red sports car with the top down and bringing smiles to everybody that sees her.
