“Coming from living in the East Bay where there are way more thrift stores. There are like 4 Hospice Thrifts and this location is by far the best 1! I can tell that They take more effort in testing electronics, because I've never took home a broken 1 that I bought from them. Cant say the same for other Hospices Thrifts. They also remind you about the return policy of electronics! Overall a good thrift stores that packs a lot in to a smaller space. More importantly, the employees and the customer service is top notch here!!! Way better here than any thrift store or business in the entire Valley!”

“It is a small thrift store that uses the money they generate to help support local community causes so if you would like to save money on things that you would purchase anyway but would also like to help support the local community , check this place out , they do have limited hours that they are open , so check first , before you go”

“Serving San Joaquin County and surrounding areas helping people with transportation and in access to community resources. Salvation Army is a large well-known organization that's still running and helping doing their part . And through the hard times that some people are faced with.”

“We paid a visit to this nice little shop during the week and immediately I felt a great vibe as we entered. The owners had such an amazing energy. Not to mention the fact that we left the store with a variety of items from books, stickers, hats, etc. Would highly recommend to anyone to take the time and visit.”

“Great spot for collectors of all sorts! I feel like a big kid going in there since I see all my favorite toys and games from when I was a kid! Reasonably priced and the owner is really down to earth!”

“The store always has an interesting selection of furniture items and I'm a sucker for their book prices. It's also a good place for me to donate clothing and household items.”

“I have been shopping at these stores for 20 years now. From Sacramento to Roseville and now Modesto! Let me tell you, I have found some real gems! I love these stores and they are by far my favorite. I don't think I have ever left empty handed. Very clean and organized. Not to mention, that their cause is near and dear to my heart. And just as a side note... After having read some of these reviews, I don't know why anyone would go to a Thrift store looking to be put on a pedestal by the employees just for the color of their skin! C'mon, just knock the chip off your shoulder and just shop. sorry for the rant.”

“My favorite thrift store in the area. Their pricing is the best, hands-down. The people complaining about the service need to relax and work in retail for once in their life.”

“You have to search to find her (corner of Sylvan and Oakdale roads, in the back behind Cr3 bar and billiards)....but it's worth it! LARGEST thrift store in town, it's warehouse size, chock full of treasures and secrets and Knick knacks, not to mention furniture and appliances. The owner is a sweet lady who will always give you a deal. SO much to search through, SO fun. If you're a thrifter, this is the store for you!”

“You could spend hours digging in here. They've got a good selection of vintage video games, original TMNT toys, strategy guides, CDs, movies, even Pee-Wee Herman, Alf, and Godzilla dolls. The prices are from fair to well below average internet prices and you get to actually see what you're buying. In a world where everything is going digital, this is the kind of store we need to support.”

“We brought my dad home from the hospital on hospice with Community Hospice. Before dad was home, we had everything we needed to keep him comfortable. If we had a question or needed a nurse to come out, all we had to do is call the triage line any time day or night and they were always there for dad and my family. Dad went home to be with the Lord almost a month ago and even today, Community Hospice calls periodically to check in on us. The staff, nurses and clergy are exceptional. If you need hospice for a loved one, I highly recommend Community Hospice. God bless these folks for their care and compassion.”

“I came to this thrift store for the first time today. While it is tucked away it is super big and clean- way cleaner than you'd expect. This thrift store has reasonable prices the prices all thrift store should have. The only downside is that they don't have a lot of men stuff on sale. It seems to hold a lot of women and kids stuff but great finds all around. I was able to talk to the owner. She seemed a bit uninterested but she kept our conversation going. Nice spot I would recommend :)”

“Variety of lots of books to choose from. A lot of toys and teddies also to find your little one, kinda pricey but sometimes will go down a bit. Melissa is the best kindest worker, she’s always so friendly and awesome.”

He was super helpful and his vibe is awesome! Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family and will be returning in the near future because of how welcoming he was!”

“Just a great place to go and find secondhand items you'll always find something good at the Goodwill whether it's in Modesto Lathrop Stockton Manteca I take it back they don't have one in Lathrop the one in Tracy is good that's the one I meant the one in Modesto is good too I found a pair of pants that are very expensive jeans and I think I paid seven dollars and I'll be able to sell them on the Internet for at least 40 so it's a good way to make cash sometimes”

“Our wonderful experience at this store: after trying several thrift and furniture stores, we finally found the exact size and shape we needed for a shelf but it was not for sale and used for display. We explained to Jasmine our situation and she sweetly said she would ask and we were successful. Great treasures in this store and great staff as well!”

“Tons of clothes, not very much furniture/housewares, but they have $1.25 books. They had modern classics like Harry Potter and the best find for me was a classic Pokemon handbook”

“This is a fun store to brose for things you forgot you needed , and for a very good price. It's a treasure hunt. It's rediculous to pay full price for many things you can pick up at Goodwill for next to nothing. I have really noticed a difference in how many people are shopping thrift and consignment stores these days. Who doesn't like a good bargain .”

“I ? THIS THRIFT STORE!I could seriously spend like a week in there sifting thru all of the hidden treasures. they have name brand items, like Vans, Nike, MissMe Jeans, True Religion...and even higher end clothing, like Marc Jacobs, Stacey Adams, and Vera Wang I've seen it all in there. Much more cost friendly than Plato's Wallet Killer Closet.... better product and never over $20. I bought a brand new drawstring Nike backpack with matching shoes for under $20. They have sales that actually save you money. And, they've got a huge.selection of home decor, like paintings, shelves, and other furniture. There's household appliances, like a big selection of Shark vacuum and shampooers. They have outdone the Goodwill Store, which used to be in that building before them.I'm actually on my way there right now to buy some new shirts, a couple pair of jeans, and hopefully I will also find a pair of sneakers to match an outfit. I usually do.One more thing: The people who work there are really cool. They treat their customers with respect, and they are helpful with things like loading furniture and other large items in your car or truck. Always friendly, never rude or impatient.”
