“It is very dusty and dirty because of all the wind if there was a way that they could blow all of this out so our cars don’t get so dirty every single day that would be nice but I don’t have anything to complain about. I’m very satisfied with the staff here to an excellent job.”

“Because I'm in the first section to have been completed I've been living in one of these renovated studio apartments for several months now and am pleased in nearly every respect. It is supremely comfortable, and quieter, because of the improved insulation and windows and these wonderful Halcyon heating/cooling units. The new gas stoves and the refrigerators are high quality - really nice. They have laminated flooring now (wood pattern) which I'll take any day over carpeting that might harbor bugs, mites, mold, or dust and cause breathing problems. The building exteriors are attractive and the landscapers did a first rate job restoring and improving upon their pre-construction work. In fact walking the complex's perimeter, along its walls and fences, is close enough to a nature walk to suit when one isn't up to an outing, or it's after dark (dear over-suspicious neighbor near the east fence: I'm just exercising, not snooping - if I were "up to no good" would I stroll around unmasked while scrupulously keeping my eyes averted from everyone's windows? lol)The downside? Not off-leash dogs anymore; that's been less of a problem these days in my experience. But living here has a bit of an institutional feel now because of two epidemics that haven't left any part of our country untouched: Covid-19 and bedbugs. This isn't the place for anyone who hates to be bothered. The door knockings are mostly well intentioned and about offering extra help to seniors, though where there's any connection to the "mental health" industry there may be good reason to see a tentacle, not a helping hand ("go peddle your Dr. Feelgood pills somewhere else," I think to myself, without answering the door.)But I acknowledge that there are always good people in any field, so kudos to the social workers, doctors, or whoever has been helping to refer or select the homeless candidates for the "No Place Like Home" program who've been placed here so far. The ones I've lived close to are very sweet-natured and deserving. We've had weekly bedbug inspections for a while now and are told that we will "until further notice." At this point I wouldn't mind if they're permanent. I don't see what else the management can do. They have to find a problem before it can become an infestation, because by then it's guaranteed to have spread to other units and costs thousands to eradicate. Recently I had an opportunity to rent a mobile home, but didn't. Yes I'd have unshared walls so wouldn't have to be concerned about a neighbor's bedbugs getting in. All I'd have to worry about (again) is some burly crackhead thief breaking in - it's about as hard to break into a mobile home or RV as into a paper bag. No thanks! As stated in an earlier review, I've always felt safe here. Eventually I decided that benefit far outweighs any of the inconveniences I've ever mentioned.”

“We are coming from out of state. Chasiti Mobley welcomed us so well and friendly. She made the application process look so easy! Off to a great start! This community appears to be in a great location too!”
