“I've been coming to this gas station for years. And it deserves four stars, almost giving it a five-star rating if it wasn't for the fact that the the ground needs to be cleaned. A little power wash once in a while wouldn't hurt. Unfortunately I won't be returning until they keep the grounds cleaned. I'll update my review if they turn this aspect around.That being said. Everything else in the gas station is very clean. And I love the fact that they keep the landscaping really nice. Some gas stations don't keep up their landscaping or have landscaping at all so thank you for keeping it very nice and presentable! And for a Chevron they have the best gas prices! They also have a good size mini-mart.”

“Gas is cheaper here than in my local area. The quality is good and when I fill up it last almost 1 week when I stay local. The only downside is sometimes their credit card machine on the gas pump will say, "see cashier" if it's late. Go back the next day or 2 and no problem which is strange. This happened to another customer. I had to use debit.”

“After hiking at Lake Chabot I came back to a flat tire. It was about 15 minutes before the Mobil gas station opened, but the young man that was tending to gas station that morning was already there, ready to help. I tried to used the air machine initially, but the attendant found it wasn’t working, so he allowed me to back my car to the service area, to help fill my tire. We discover the tire wouldn’t hold air, and I wouldn’t make it home before it went completely flat. He asked if I had a spare and changed my tire with no hesitation and refused any compensation. Some times when your in s as bind you luck out and come across a savior, and the young man at this Mobil was mine, and I will forever be thankful for his assistance and impeccable service.”

“My favorite place to stop for gas and fresh coffee. They have one of the most freshly baked cookies everyday! The staff is very honest, friendly and helping. Once I forgot my $1 change and the cashier especially came outside to give my change. I would definitely recommend this place!!”

“This place has the lowest gas prices in the area. I will stop for gas whenever I'm in the area and have 1/2 tank or less. It's hidden and it's not easy to pull into the 4 pumps (yup, that's all there are) due to the angle of the traffic lane at the pumps in relation to the driveway. I have never been inside the Quik Stop Store and this review is strictly limited to the getting of gas, only. Today, the price was $3.579 and that's for cash or credit card. I've never had a problem here other than having to wait a bit because there are only 4 pumps. But, it's not as bad as waiting at COSTCO on a busy day! Jim”

Jorge literally saved the day by going above and beyond and helped me tremendously especially what transpired the day before, (a mess) with the previous employees that wasn't so helpful. He literally cleaned up their mess and did an amazing job. Hats off to Jorge.”

“This is my Walgreens! The pharmacy has always filled my prescriptions promptly and correctly. I'm alerted by text, email and phone when order is ready. I find this very helpful. Inside Lines and drive up can be long waits at times but I think it's unprepared customers. I've always experienced courteous staff. The store itself is always stocked and I find what's needed. I'm happy to have them in my town. Thank You Walgreens staff. I know it must be a challenging job handling the variety and volume of folks that flow thru your store.”

“While I am not wild about the inside of the store (it seems perpetually understaffed and I'm not wild about their selection, that's why 1 star off) I love their pharmacy. The first thing I did while moving to Castro Valley was lose an important bottle of medication, mostly full. I went to my new pharmacy (I was already an unwilling customer of CVS, so I figured I'd just use the Castro Valley CVS) and it was amazing. I asked them if there was any way they could sell me a few tablets to hold me until I could find the bottle, instead they called my insurance, explained that I lost the bottle, and got authorization to fill a new one for me, then had it ready for me in 10 minutes.That was a year ago. I take a lot of meds, many of them controlled substances. I've called and dropped in so many times the pharmacist (who is responsive, caring, very busy, and very good at his job) knows me by name, and other staff, especially in the drive thru, know me on sight. I'm there for meds about once a week, usually picking up multiple bottles. That's a lot of opportunities for things to go wrong, but it's either something they immediately fixed, or something completely out of their control. The pharmacist even called my insurance and figured out why they denied one of my meds when even the prescribing doctor couldn't get that information.This is not just the best CVS pharmacy I've ever been to, it's the best pharmacy I've worked with ever!Hint: it can be a wait, but the drive thru is where I've gotten the best help. Or calling them. They have long hold times, but that's because they actually help, and that takes time.”
