“This a great place to bring your pets. My dog is a little extra and I feel like he gets treated with VIP status. The vet techs, Vet Dr, and front desk staff always get down and great my dog. I’m always told upfront the diagnostic and treatment recommendations. They’re aware that treatments can be costly but inform me if that can wait for a future visit. When we got pet insurance, my pet insurance was giving us a hard time saying they hadn’t received the care notes, I called Kirkwood and spoke with front desk staff and they provide me with exact details when items were sent to my pet insurance. Spoke to my insurance and they sure got their act together. Thank you for treating my dog with VIP status.”

This time my dog had multiple issues. The tests and x-rays were done right away and I was called with all the results by midday on Monday. Then can up with a treatment plan. The only reason they got a 4 was that we had to wait 7 days to get an appointment. Although this is a very common problem right now.Mark”

“They did a good job and were able to save my dog after a bad injury from a car accident. They could have been more thorough with the instructions on how to care for him when I brought him home though.When I called to ask questions later I didn’t get to talk to the vet and the person on the phone just offered for me to bring him in again but since I was able to take care of him without leaving I thought this was a bad idea.Another downside that’s reasonable is there wasn’t a vet there at night to do the stitches on his wound until the morning.Also the first night I brought him home I wanted to ask the vet a question but never called because I assumed the vet wouldn’t be available and it wasn’t worth causing him anxiety to bring him back in for an expensive appointment at the time.If I have another emergency that can’t wait for my regular vet I would bring him there again. The report was detailed and professional.”
