“We’re back at AVMC after moving out of the area for the past 4 years. We used to see Dr. Chidi Ugwu but today we were helped by Dr. Conny. The AVMC staff took great care of my senior Pomeranian after he slipped and fell, and they investigated a mysterious fungus on his back. I was really worried but Dr. Conny gave it to me straight, ensured me my dog was going to be okay, and let me know to try and relax a little LOL. Having old dogs I’m in a constant state of worry but I’m feeling so relieved after my dog’s vet visit today. The staff did not try to upsell me or overmedicate my dog. Thank you Dr. Conny and team! “My dog was spayed there last November, and Dr. Kane was very helpful and communicative. I was concerned because my dog had been vomiting a couple of days prior to the surgery. “This a great place to bring your pets. My dog is a little extra and I feel like he gets treated with VIP status. The vet techs, Vet Dr, and front desk staff always get down and great my dog. I’m always told upfront the diagnostic and treatment recommendations. They’re aware that treatments can be costly but inform me if that can wait for a future visit. When we got pet insurance, my pet insurance was giving us a hard time saying they hadn’t received the care notes, I called Kirkwood and spoke with front desk staff and they provide me with exact details when items were sent to my pet insurance. Spoke to my insurance and they sure got their act together. Thank you for treating my dog with VIP status.”

“I have had nothing but positive experiences here at the Summit Vet. My initial experience here occurred during the pandemic when I had a very sick dog. At the time I was still driving all the way up to my old vet in Los Altos. After a long drive and negative experience there, I became determined to find a vet who could help my dog. That’s when I called Summit Veterinary. The receptionist worked with me to have my dog seen that very afternoon. When I got there Dr. Parvizi explained to me what was going on with my dog and we did some further testing due to her advanced age. “They did a good job and were able to save my dog after a bad injury from a car accident. They could have been more thorough with the instructions on how to care for him when I brought him home though.When I called to ask questions later I didn’t get to talk to the vet and the person on the phone just offered for me to bring him in again but since I was able to take care of him without leaving I thought this was a bad idea.Another downside that’s reasonable is there wasn’t a vet there at night to do the stitches on his wound until the morning.Also the first night I brought him home I wanted to ask the vet a question but never called because I assumed the vet wouldn’t be available and it wasn’t worth causing him anxiety to bring him back in for an expensive appointment at the time.If I have another emergency that can’t wait for my regular vet I would bring him there again. The report was detailed and professional.”

“Update 12.14.23. still five star service. I arrived pretty much on time for my appointment and was seen within a few minutes. I was a little bit embarrassed because I hadn't been able to take them in for a while, but the vet and the staff were very friendly and just gave them their regular shots and checkups. Had a nice chat about my cats and the vets own pet lives too, and it was quite nice. One of my cats is really hard to handle, but they got most of the exam done without any issues, and I was satisfied to hear my cats were still in good health ?. I forgot to ask them a question about my cat's teeth before leaving, but I will probably send them an email, as they seemed open to communication after the exam. Definitely will be coming back again, and still biased because I still live right down the street.This reviews a bit biased just because of how close I live. Literally walking distance to this vet, and my cats are indoor/outdoor and take walks with me.Because of covid, a lot of businesses have been struggling so I guess I was lucky to get an appointment to here. Was able to schedule an appointment about a week out, and was seen promptly when I arrived.Doctor saw my cat for a regular checkup, and hopefully these guys will be my regular vet from now on!(Pic is of my cat that was seen, not the business)”

“I have been going to Central Animal Hospital for years. I have always been very happy with them. Most of the time I like to go to Dr Hedden. But I have gone to other vets now and then. This time my dog had multiple issues. The tests and x-rays were done right away and I was called with all the results by midday on Monday. Then can up with a treatment plan. The only reason they got a 4 was that we had to wait 7 days to get an appointment. Although this is a very common problem right now.Mark”
“I love how accommodating this clinic is. There were times when my 8 week old puppy was keep vomiting and having diarrhea but the clinic was able to treat my puppy with fluids and meds on a weekend without an appt. This happened a few times and I was really pleased with their services. If you’re a pet parent you probably know how relieving that is. Everyone working here is also super nice. Highly recommend this clinic!”
