“Great shop, great service, great people!
I was long overdue service on my 2007 Lexus IS350. I got the car back in 2017 with 85k miles and had basically only done oil changes all the way till now (125k miles, August 2024).
I wanted to get the car ready for another 100k miles without any headaches. I saw some oil leaking in my garage and wanted that inspected and fixed as well.
Thomas advised me to get some additional items done since we already had the water pump and transmission fluid on the list, and I agreed. Worry free for a long long time now!
I really liked how they send you pictures on what they found, and show you the work they did.
Here’s everything I got done:
- Cabin air filter replaced
- Brake fluid
- Engine oil dipstick tube seal replaced
- Differential fluid change
- Transmission fluid drain & fill
- Transmission filter replaced
- Transmission pan gasket
- Coolant flush
- Water pump & Serpentine Drive Belt
- Radiator replaced
- Upper radiator coolant hose replaced
- Lower radiator coolant hose replaced
- Radiator cap replaced”

I called and asked #1 Auto Repair and Smog if he could take me right away instead of waiting for my appointment. He said yes right away. He fixed the starter, did an oil change, and did a smog test within 24 hours. He noticed the pressure on my tires was low and fixed it! Great service, fast turnaround, and fair price!”

“A few weeks ago my wife and I were on the way to breakfast and we realized that we were behind on our oil change. We had never been to Scotty's, but we have heard many good things about the shop. We called the shop and we were told they were booked for a couple of weeks, but if we came in right away they could get us in and out. We dropped what we were doing and we headed over there. It was amazing service and the team was so nice and helpful. When we got there Dave recommended a couple of breakfast places since we were already on the way to breakfast. The oil change was done a few minutes after we got back from breakfast. From the beginning to the end: the service, professionalism and price were the best that I could have asked for in any shop. We talked for a good 15 minutes after my car was done, and not all about my car, but about life and the value you get when you seek people who care. Let me tell you what a breath of fresh air that was. A place where I could let my guard down and cancel all my thoughts you typically go in with when it comes to car service "this person just wants to gouge me".
We spoke on the phone a week prior to him squeezing me in, to accommodate my schedule because I was coming from afar. I was there at 9am sharp and his technician Gabe was there to greet me and check me in. You can tell a lot from Gabe that he is instilled with the same values that Kevin demonstrates. They are 100% in sync which assured me even further that I was in good hands. They went over and above then what I asked at a more than fair cost and gained a lifetime customer.

“I had a Teraflex rzeppa joint on the front drive shaft that was failing. I was in Los Gatos as a visitor. It took me 5 hours to drive there and all the while, there were rattling and scraping sounds; like a shearing metal noise the faster I accelerated. It didn't sound good at all but I had zero time. I Google'd to diagnose but to no avail. Ultimately, I found Arabia's Overkill on the Jeep Forums and wouldn't you know it- he was just miles from our event. He replaced the front drive shaft because that rzeppa joint was failing and it would have been catastrophic on the highway. Jeff let us cut the line and got us a 1 day turnaround, placing a custom order for overnight delivery. I won't call it cheap but it was more than fair. He had a TON of cars in queue, I mean he REALLY did us a favor and saved our lives.”

Cora, a manager for IQ, told me not to worry because she would deal with State Farm directly. And that's exactly what she did.
