“Beautiful European style resort in a gorgeous location close to downtown Calistoga. Clean pool and sauna with lots of seating. Rooms have completely private terraces and the breakfast is amazing. Come to relax and take in the mineral waters and gorgeous resort grounds. Kurt, the owner, is a wonderful host. This is ideal for solo travelers or couples and friends who want to unwind and relax. You can go out to dinner or get everything you need in nearby downtown and just spend the evening chilling by the pool or on your private terrace. Truly a jewel.”

“Nice clean room. Nice pool area, and the pool was nicely heated. Nice complimentary breakfast, and nice outdoor lobby area. The people we met who work there were very friendly. Location was great as it was out of the traffic area in Calistoga but easy walking distance to the main street. For the price point in downtown Calistoga, it was worth it. Will stay there again and recommend it.”

“My husband and I recently stayed at Aurora Park Cottages for a quick getaway to Napa. Our two-night stay here was absolutely perfect! Kate’s hospitality was truly wonderful—we felt so welcomed and cared for from the moment we arrived. Each morning, she brought us a lovely basket of continental breakfast, which included warm pastries, fresh fruits, and orange juice. On our last day, she surprised us with a special treat that made our stay even more memorable. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and in a great location—peaceful yet close to everything. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back!”

“This is a great hotel. The location is good. The rooms were very clean and modern. The grounds and pool were also in great shape and you could see numerous staff working daily. My only complaint would be room service is only every other day unless requested. The free shuttle is a great service.”

“Great hotel! Clean, well-stocked, comfy bed, spacious room, good water pressure in the shower, and fantastic customer service! The only con was the unattractive wall in the patio area and the lack of landscaping, which didn't make the patio inviting. I would stay here again but would get a room on the second floor with a view.”

“If you want to stay somewhere cozy, clean, and close to downtown look no further. Carlin Country Cottages is the place. The mineral pool and hot tub is extremely relaxing and it's a huge bonus that there's a kitchen in the room. You can even bbq outside in the shared space. I highly recommend!”

“Booo....so many bad reviews. Been here 5 times already & never had any issues. The staff is very accommodating to our needs : we always get a room by the pool with patio. They always let us check in early. (Call before). Everyone so helpful and friendly....price is fine, no complaints. We are currently staying here & sad to see all these negative reviews & we hope to continue to support Upvalley inn. So far, every time we come no issues.
