“Amazing customer service here! I had a package that was labeled as insufficient address due to the company that shipped my order put my address incorrectly. But I called in and Alicia helped solve it easily and quickly. I needed the package that day and she was able to contact the carrier, Sam, and he said that he could come back to my neighborhood after his deliveries for the day and bring it to me. Alicia was so communicative with me about my options and ways to manage this situation and Sam hand delivered my package to my door at night (it didn't fit in the mailbox) and it was raining. I appreciate this post office so much for getting everything done for me in such a timely manner and going above and beyond.”
“Rhett was awesome! I had to do an I9 verification for my employer and it had to be done by today but they had no appointments open today so I called and talked to Rhett and asked if they could squeeze me in today. He said yes, I went in, he remembered talking to me, did the I9 verification for me, no hassles and was quick about it too! Thank you Rhett!! I appreciate you!! You rock ?”
“I needed to refund a spoiled money order. The Anaheim St office staff was mean and told me they won't do it. Here they did it quickly and they were super nice. If you live in Long Beach use this office!”
“Had my passport renewed here. Booked an appointment 2 days in advance during the weekend. Came in on a Monday after and only two people was in line. Fast and speedy service. The lady was nice and patient enough explaining everything to me while managing and service the rest of the customer. I had a great experience.”
“Small but appears efficient. Has a self service kiosk. Located in a shopping center so parking is plentiful. I prefer this over a tiny lot and having to worry about finding parking.”

“Polite staff and careful to details. Mr. Robert is friendly, and ready to help for people who come in first time. The other staff also try to make it quickly to limit the people in a long queue. Good service for newcomers to the States ??”
“The gentleman who helped us, Noel, was kind, understanding, and very accommodating of our needs and questions about our passport applications. He guided us throughout the process and explained everything! It was such a smooth process. Thank you Noel!”
“First time coming to this location. Was in the area and needed to mail off my passport to be renewed as well as take care of other packages. Donovan was the team member who carried out exceptional customer service with detailed mailing options and mail times. He knew I was very new to the mailing options so efficiently took care of my concerns. Donovan was thorough, friendly, had some jokes, and process the task smoothly. There was a line but he took care of the customers with a breeze.”
“This USPS location is quite nice, the front lady is so nice and pay attention to details, there is no wait line. Whole environment is clean. My package is delivered faster than scheduled.”
“I came here with an apt for my kids passport, it was our first time getting passports so going through the process was new to us. We came in and noticed front clerk Alida assisting another man, she sounded friendly and helpful to “him”. After we went up her tone changed and she definitely made our experience uncomfortable. We didn’t disrespect her in any way we weren’t rude in anyway and we noticed the tone of voice with us vs. her tone of voice with that man. After a few mins another clerk assisted us and he is the only reason why I gave a 4 star. The customer service that she failed he fulfilled. We noticed different interactions with Alida and customers and she picks and chooses who she wants to give good customer service. We even noticed her interaction with one of her co workers and it was very tense. She shouldn’t be in the front unless she treats everyone with respect not only when she feels like it.”
“My postal service is efficient! The employees are customer friendly & informative! Very clean & quite decorative during the holidays! Customers smile & greet the employees respectfully! Our post office is the best & i have frequented a few in in Whittier!”
“Hit or miss with regards to wait times but everyone inside working there is helpful & accommodating. A true neighborhood post office with employees who haven't been dulled by the grind.”
“Quick, friendly, helpful, and resourceful. If you only went to this post office for your entire life all the phrases and idioms like “going postal” would be completely lost on you. I have lived less than 2 miles from this post office for almost 5 years and the only unpleasant experiences with post offices I’ve had was when I was unable to go to this location.Midway City is the most convenient place to live. The post office is laid back and easy going, Midway City Sanitation easily accessible and handle things ins timely manner, the property taxes are lower than average and the Vietnamese community are wonderful. I am so grateful I found this gem.”
“I had to do a return and really wasn't prepared. I had the items in a see through bag it came in and the returned label in hand. Anthony offered to pack and label the bag for me. Made my day! THANK YOU!”
“6/11/2024 - I went to 1350 E Chapman to renew my passport, and did not have an appointment. I was fortunate to meet Richard Trung and Long Ho who helped me complete my application and mail off my passport renewal. Both were professionals, courteous and very helpful. All was complete in 10 minutes.
Thank you Richard and Long.”
“10 times better than the post office on Lincoln. Mail plus more has parking, the post office parking lot is donkeybutt. Mail plus more is fast and easy for live scan, mail, P.O. Box, and (like the name) more. Post office is full of lines, 25 clocked-in employees, but only 1 behind the counter. Go to Mail Plus More and save your time and patience. It's worth it!”
“Michelle literally went above and beyond to help me. She actually took her time and figured out a way to help me with a problem and glitch the usps website had with labels. I will start coming back to this location just because of her awesome help!”
“My husband and I went to get our passports, we had an appointment and we didn’t wait very long, maybe 15 minutes. Nancy helped us that morning and she was very kind and helpful with our forms and our photos. She made our experience a breeze.Thank you Nancy. We need more people like you ❤️?.”
“My go too post office because I live locally. Lines are not bad, if there is one at all. All of the clerks are super nice, friendly, and most importantly, helpful. Thank you always for the service. Peace”
“I would like to say that after being passed around by the company I ordered from to try and fix the address they misprinted I ended calling usps and Tony went and physically looked for my package saw that the business only put the numbers of my address and not the street(it was not my fault my confirmation email says I put my full address) he fixed it and had it sent out for the next day mail delivery. Let me tell you that is the kind of service that is stellar. He could’ve easily told me no but instead he went and fixed it even tho it wasn’t their fault that the address was wrong. Thank you guys for helping as this package is a gift.”
“I've never had a bad experience at this office. The staff is super friendly! I work weekdays so I've only ever been in on the weekends. The line is always pretty long, but they get through it at a pretty quick pace!”
“Standing in line this morning I could hear how caring, thorough, and patient each employee was with the customers. My turn in line gave me Cristen. She is customer focused and detail oriented. Plus, she is so pleasant to talk to. That's why I had to ask her for her name. She is great. Thank you for your time.”
“Yes, they do close for lunch from 12:30-1:30 and yes, that should be posted on this page in big block letters! People should be aware that this is a small local branch in Old Town, so yes, there is typically only one person at the counter (occasionally a worker in back). There’s a big main branch less than two miles up Seal Beach Blvd if you’re worried about lines during the holidays (or you’re like, driving). Otherwise for those of us who are just walking over to mail a package, access a box, or send something certified mail, this place is friendly, helpful, quick, and super convenient.”
“I want to say that the Placentia post office was more than awesome, they went above and beyond. Especially Justin. I had a package that was delivered past the deadline, so I wasn't going to be able to get it until the next day, and I was leaving early the next morning. I needed the package for my trip. I spoke to a couple of guys, one being Justin. He gave me his phone # and I gave him mine. I called him two hours after the PO closed. He answered and said they hadn't located it, and asked me to give him some time. Two hours later, he called E to let me know he had located my package, and I could go and get it. I was so impressed. Not a lot of people go above and beyond like that. Placentia post office on Kraemer saved the day. I am so appreciative. not a lot of people would go out of their way like that.”
“I recently visited this USPS office to drop off a package for shipment, and while the overall experience was efficient, I encountered an issue with the package drop-off.Upon entering the USPS office, I was pleased to see that there was not a long line or significant wait time. The service seemed to be well-managed, and the staff appeared attentive and ready to assist customers. This was definitely a positive aspect of my visit, as I was able to save time and complete my transaction quickly. However, when I attempted to use the package drop-off, I encountered a problem. The drop-off slot was jammed, preventing me from properly depositing my package. I tried a couple of times, but unfortunately, it remained stuck. It was disappointing to encounter this issue, as the convenience of a functioning drop-off is one of the main reasons I choose USPS for shipping my packages.Despite the jammed drop-off, the staff promptly noticed my struggle and came to my assistance. They were courteous and did their best to resolve the issue promptly. While I appreciated their efforts, it was still a minor inconvenience that could have been avoided if the drop-off had been properly maintained.I understand that occasional technical difficulties can occur, but it is essential for USPS to ensure that all equipment, including package drop-offs, are regularly checked and maintained to provide a seamless customer experience.Overall, while the lack of long lines and wait times was a positive aspect, the jammed package drop-off was a significant inconvenience. I hope USPS takes note of such issues and implements measures to prevent them in the future. Despite this setback, I appreciate the efforts of the staff in addressing the problem promptly.”
“The Asian gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful. I went in to do a passport renewal. I was completely clueless about the whole process and he guided me through the whole thing while maintaining a welcoming attitude. Whole process only took about 3 minutes. Thank you good sir.”
