“After a day of massive travel delays, we arrived at the lodge late at night and really couldn't see anything other than finding our way to the room. But goodness was it worth it. The room itself made up for all of the delays and all of the exhaustion! It was beyond clean and spacious! The bathroom with the soaking tub was everything! The shower was a dream! And the heated seat bidet? Changed our lives forever! ?. I'm always uncomfortable in typical hotel beds - but the bed at the Lodge? I want THIS bed in my own home! The lodge is located in Saratoga Village and this 'Tree City' is beautiful with so many restaurants within walking distance from the Lodge. I literally forgot I was staying at a 'hotel'! So beautiful! Thank you Saratoga Oaks Lodge for a wonderful experience!”

“I couldn't believe how nice my room was!!! Nice work area, very comfy love seat, fireplace and super comfortable king bed. I would have expected this amount of luxury to be twice the price. Two block walk to the uncrowded beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from”

We had our son and his fiances rehearsal dinner here! It was such a beautiful location, the hosts were AMAZING, there were plenty of amenities to accomodate a group, and you cant beat the amazing redwoood trees. We felt so cared for by the attention to detail from the hosts and could not have asked for a better experience!”

“All I can say is.. WOW.This is a hidden gem in the Bay Area. My entire stay was lovely. The location felt like a retreat oasis with the creek running right next to the rooms. The bed and rooms were comfortable and clean with plenty of room for luggage and belongings.The hotel staff is lovely and it felt like such a lovely getaway for my boyfriend and I.Will definitely be recommending this place and returning soon!”

“Spacious room for the price.There's a convenience store and tattoo parlor downstairs, not in a tacky way more wow that's cool.The History of this place is awesome and potential even more.We can't wait until they finish renovating.We'll be coming here forever more.Rooms: Well Renovated rooms. Up to date and with a balcony on every floor and the sound of the water running by.Nearby activities: Santa Cruz is so close.Our favorite places to go are the main drags in Boulder Creek and Felton.Great antique shops and boutiques.Food & drinks: Boulder Creek Pizza is amazing!Noteworthy details: The history and potential of this lodge is incredible. Worth researching while you're there. It feels so special.”

“We love the Hamilton inns that we've gone to. This specific one had a really friendly man working the front desk when we checked in at night who was back in the morning and was happy to give advice on places to eat (they even provided a sheet full of recommended restaurants with some highlighted). Breakfast was the usual standard good options and a diabetic who needs to watch her carbs, I love that I can get full without needing extra insulin as they had egg and sausage but my son and husband loved the waffles :)”

“Arrived yesterday afternoon and there was a mix up with our ADA room. Naomi at the front desk was on it immediately. She upgraded us to an ADA suite. We had to wait for it to be cleaned, so she offered us complimentary drinks while we waited. We have stayed here several times and this was the first time we have had any issues. Naomi took care of it quickly and apologized repeatedly for the mix up.Great to see customer service still exists!”

“When I first arrived I was greeted kindly by the young lady and young man at the office. They offered me suggestions
on restaurants and provided recommendations on areas to visit. I didn’t get their names but they were truly kind. Our room was quiet and smelled clean. It did its purpose of being there for us to sleep in lol. It’s located in the mountains and it’s a quiet location. Definitely would stay here again.”

“This Best Western was good,clean and near the freeway. The noise level was good despite its location. There's a Denny's located directly across the street. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. There are many resturants within walking distance
Rooms: The room was clean and spacious.
Safety: I felt secured in the area.
Walkability: Walkability was wonderful. You can actually walk downtown and to the boardwalk. Its within a mile. We walked through the park to go downtown. The park was very clean and tranquil.
Food & drinks: Food and drinks were good. There's a water purification dispenser in the gym area.”

He was helpful with the reservation and anything we needed and we are so glad to have stayed where service was so great. “Super kind, responsive ownership. Clean and cute cabins that can potentially sleep 5. Dog friendly. The river right next to it is beautiful. You can walk to a nice restaurant in under 90 seconds and to a nice grocery store and gas station in under three minutes. The cabin was very clean with nice furniture.
This isn't so much a complaint as it is a suggestion: the showers are very dark and can be a challenge for people that don't have the best vision. Perhaps a battery powered LED light installed in the shower would help”
