“Okay so let's start out with it Was our anniversary...So our Vibes brought us here for spiritual Brunch!We were headed elsewhere for brunch ended up here and feed our souls for about 2 hours or more. Lost track of time as if the moment we walked through the threshold it paused the world around us all I heard was ancestral words calming my entire being.(Was it the soundtrack from dancing with wolves ...j.k j.k lol he did have a dope native American and Cuban drums and some flute Playlist going)Yo I can't make this stuff up.I only review places I really like,places I really vibe with. “I don't even know where to begin with Gigi :-). She is just STELLAR. Great to work with, awesome personality, clear, communicative, a true artist... I came to her with a ring I needed to have reset (and transformed). I wanted to keep some of the integrity of the original piece while also breathing new life/my own personality into it. I had an idea of what I wanted but no clue of how it would be geometrically feasible. Gigi (somehow) figured it out and it is GORGEOUS. It was not an easy design and it involved very delicate stones. Her design and her Goldsmith's work were phenomenal. We then turned the remaining jewels into a beautiful necklace. I want to do more projects with Gigi!”

“I've been to Industrial several times and have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is always kind, considerate and helpful (even when it's the end of the day and they are about to go home).I have gotten 4 piercings at Industrial and my spouse has gotten 6. Again, always a positive and pleasant experience.All 4 piercings I got at Industrial were genital piercings. Now I mention this ONLY because, let's be honest, you want to be able to trust the piercer who is working on such a sensitive location. NOT A PROBLEM! You're talking about decades of experience and knowledge. I live in Vallejo but I will always make the drive to Berkeley when I need piercings. They are the best in the Bay Area. Plain and simple.”

“I have been coming to Radbird for several years. I can always find stylish designer pieces although they tend to be on the pricier side of preowned clothing. Their prices seem to always land somewhere between $200-$400. The fine jewelry collection is gorgeous.The ladies who work there are always kind but the fitting rooms could use some full length mirrors.”

I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”

“My fiancé and I most highly recommend Zaver & Mor. The store has a captivating selection of jewelry from local artists including many unique choices for engagement rings. We found an engagement ring with a setting we loved and the owner helped us source a different center stone because we had our hearts set on a green sapphire in the same shade as a center stone from another ring in the store. The entire shopping experience was personalized and relaxed. The owner Rada is a wonderful resource, knows her gems, is transparent, and cares about sustainable practices. “I brought my youngest daughter here to get her ears pierced. I love everyone's energy here. The piercing itself went smoothly and the piercer made her feel so comfortable and was gentle and communicated clearly throughout her whole experience. I was very appreciative of that. I have another daughter who came here and has gotten four piercings. For my 50th birthday, my two daughters treated me to get my nose pierced (something I've wanted to do since I was about 14). I wouldn't go anywhere else for not only great energy but attentiveness. Very welcoming environment! You won't be disappointed in coming here.b”

“My daughter and I visited Bombay Jewelry company because my earring was run over by a car and folded in two. Maulin Chokshi, the owner, took great care to examine the gold and advise us on possible courses of action. Given that the cost of repair may not have guaranteed perfect results and could have been costly, we opted to see if he could just bend it back- which he did! He did a careful and very expert job and would not accept payment. This is a highly professional and knowledgeable jeweler, with a kind demeanor and excellent customer service. He was aware of different types of gold and jewels, and has an interesting stock, as well as being an expert in jewelry maintenance and repair. Highly recommended!”
“This is strictly a repair place, not a jewelry store, in a strip mall that features massage parlors. Don't be put off by the unprepossessing atmosphere. John is a master craftsman who knows his business. I had a saga with an antique garnet and diamond ring that had prongs sticking up. First I took it to Pavé which had repaired earrings for me for $35. As I noted in an earlier review, they would charge $675 to repair the prongs, and recommended removing the garnet for another $325. That was about the price of the ring when I bought it, so I decided against letting them repair it. I took it to Kim's Watches and Jewelry Repair, where I had had a bracelet untangled for only $8. Mr. Kim didn't replace the prongs, but he bended them, for $40. I thought the ring was fine but the prongs began sticking up again. Mr. Kim again worked on the ring, and charged me nothing. But I knew the problem wasn't solved. When I saw the positive reviews for Underhill Studio, I took the ring to John. He carefully examined the ring and showed me photographs. Virtually all the prongs needed replacement, but not the center garnet. It took two visits, but he replaced all of them for $185. The ring looks great and I think the problem is finally solved. If you want an upscale jewelry store, Pavé is fine. If you want an expert who charges a fair price, try Underhill.”
