“Walking into the Dyson Demo Store was one of the best things I ever did in my life! I stepped in curious about hair tools and Zachary stepped right up in showing me all the selections. He was very professional in answering my many questions and helping me test the options. I was very impressed! Zachary also identified the perfect floor vacuum attachment for my Dyson V7 so that my hair doesn't get tangled in the rotor. The floor attachment always seemed to be unavailable on the Dyson website when I've tried to order but it was amazingly easy to get at the store. It's been life changing!”

“We went to Airport Appliance in Emeryville after a salesperson at Home Depot told us there's essentially no difference in quality between their washing machines, regardless of price. In contrast, Manny, Manuel Lewis, Jr., the salesperson at Airport Appliance was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the tiers within brands, whether parts are easily available, and what people say about how well machines with and without agitators work. He also helped us to understand different dishwasher options. They offer a service for connecting the dishwasher that HD does not and their delivery is faster and free. If machines don't fit when delivered, they can be returned free of charge, and if they arrive damaged, their price can be reduced or they can be returned. There is also a much larger selection to look at of all appliances. Great experience.”

I have had the vacuum, a Meile White Star, repaired a time or two here, and have always been happy with their service, The vacuum finally lost its will to live after 25 years, and I decided to replace it with the current model. They guaranteed to match online prices, and when I came home, I discovered a sale price at Amazon that was significantly less than I'd paid. I went back to Grand Lake Sew & Vac and they looked it up and gave me a refund immediately. These folks are true to their word and are excellent technicians. I ams o glad I can support this local business and so glad they are in my neighborhood.”

“Jorge Sr. and Jorge Jr. are terrific. They communicate proactively and they follow through. I had an LG stackable washer/dryer that was being replaced with an all electric unit. Jorge Jr. and a co-worker arranged to pick up my LG units within a couple days of contacting them. They were 15 minutes early! They were in and out very efficiently, even capping the gas line! Excellent service. Highly recommend.”

“Our Bertazzoni range has been giving us problems since the beginning. Multiple calls to the headquarters resulted in them sending terrible technicians to our home, if they even came! Sometimes no one would show up! Finally, after almost a year, they put us in touch with Purcell Murray, who sent Juan to fix our stove. Juan is definitely one of the most personable, knowledgeable appliance professional that we've ever worked with. He made us feel so much better about this purchase, and also supported us in filing for an extended warranty. After about two hours, he fixed all of the major problems. “I will say that I can see how the Home Depot has changed, the majority of items are locked up. However, I do understand why; it’s due to the high amount of theft. But, I would like to say that I appreciate how friendly and how proactive an employee was during our visit. Denene provided us with AMAZING customer service! I appreciate how thorough she was explaining the process of changing out the cabinets and counter tops for our home. At this moment, my husband and I will be placing that project on hold, but I did want to recognize the amazing job she did, with being super patient with us and answering our questions.
