“I am impressed by the staff and team members they have watching my kids. Today a team member, Layla, helped my son at the ninja course center. She was able to go up the rope and calm my son who had climbed up and was to scared to come back down due to his fear of heights. Me as a scared mother who cannot climb up there was really impressed how Layla handled the situation and was able to get my son down and calming him down. Would definitely recommend bringing your kids here as they will surely be kept safe!!!”

“CALM is a great little zoo and museum. It is so family friendly. You will love it. It is only closed on Monday. The prices are great, we paid 10$ per adult for the whole day.Located in Bakersfield, which is fun, it is part of Kern County which has a lot to offer. The zoo is kept super clean and the staff is very friendly. It can get super hot in the summer so keep that in mind. It was fine the day we were there.CALM has grown from a locals-only attraction to an international destination point. Visitors from around the world are attracted to the zoo to see a variety of endangered species and California’s native species. You will get to see animals and plenty of plant life that you will never see at some zoos.They also have a rehab center for all manner of animals and your entrance fee helps to support that.You can also rent the entire place. I know nothing about it. You would need to call them.You will just have the best time at this little zoo on the hill. Have fun.”

“I have only been to the KCM when events were happening at it. This was my first time purposefully seeking out going to the KCM. I wish I would have purchased the membership for $40 for two reasons. 1. There's so much to see we didn't get to see everything 2. It gives you access to a few other places around town, including the art museum and calm. The KCM has lots of old buildings/ homes on display, including Merle Haggard's house. They have a Bakersfield Sound area, which is dedicated to the artists that developed the sound. They have an old neon lights area. This was like a micro scale of the Vegas Neon Light Museum, but still very cool! They have a Native American history area, oil history area, mining history area, etc. It was overall very informative and a fun way to spend a few hours, for not that much money.”

“Amazing team members while the company party they hosted was going on. The bar and drinks were immaculate. The way the hall was decorated with all the artists, bands, and singers was astounding. Great place for company parties and tours. I highly suggest this place.”

“We rented the BRC venue for a CHP graduation and were so happy with everything about the party. The inside banquet room was perfect for the event, and overlooks both the pool and courtyard. Sadly I forgot to get a picture of how lovely the courtyard was but it was incredibly charming. All of the staff were very kind, accommodating, and overall a thrill to work with. Definitely a great venue hall in town like a secret gem in town.”

“I’ve been to this house a few times for fundraisers like Oktoberfest, Holiday Market and the Mother’s Day Tea. I’ve had a great time at each event. You can tell the house has been newly renovated and the courtyard is nicely kept. Each event is decorated differently, which I think is cool. It’s never the same.The bathrooms are nice too and I noticed there is a kitchen with multiple ovens and fridges for caterers.It’s a truly beautiful building which I’m sure has tons of history behind it.I don’t have a need for a space yet, but would consider this location for a baby shower or something. Parking is easy too!Oh, and my mom won a $150 bottle of wine at the Mothers Day Tea so best believe we’ll be back!”

“Just a short stay at a very reasonable price. Room and hotel were very clean. Breakfast was standard and delicious. Took off a star only because of the location noise due to highway traffic, such as sirens. Highway noise was not a problem. Nothing the hotel can do about it, but if you don't like outside noise this may not be the place for you.”

“Triple C Ranch was our favourite place visited in California. Judy’s love for her animals was infectious, all so well taken care of and happy. We had a ride with Alex as our guide up and around the ranch, he was so well informed and answered all of our questions about the area and the very relaxed horses we were riding. Both Judy and Alex went above and beyond for our visit, we will absolutely be returning again!”

“We used the Moga palace for our wedding reception. We wanted a large venue, where we would not have to limit the guest list. We were not disappointed. The hall was decorated beautifully. If you are looking for a lot of bang for your buck, I would recommend Moga Palace!”
