“Got some rest but omg u can definitely hear thru the walls on what's going on on the other side . Need a lil bit more privacy or insulation but they were atleast updated n the showers were loose n low water pressure. Toilet was all runny thru out the nigh n the Damm door wouldn't seal completely u can hear every freaken car that was in the lot n specially going thru the freeway”

“Came here as a last minute stop and if in the area I would gladly choose to stay here again. Everyone was friendly and helpful, room was clean and quiet. No complaints here! We also had the complimentary breakfast and it was delicious. So many options but not limited to bagels, waffles, fresh fruit, coffee, orange juice, yogurt, eggs, bacon, potatoes, all the best breakfast foods I felt like I was dining like a king lol, thanks Hilton!! I’ve stayed at give or take 7 hotels and this one has been my favorite”

“I frequently stay at Best Western hotels when I travel and this one stands out from most. The front desk employees are friendly and always helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is gated and there is only one way in or out (I like this option for safety). The area is quiet and secure. This should be your go to hotel when you're traveling to Bakersfield.”

“We had a great stay along the way on a road trip. The hotel staff were really nice, the room was clean and had a kitchenette with microwave, full size fridge, sink, and dishwasher with all the dishes you would need. There was even a curtain you can draw around the bed to block light from the other half of the room with the TV. For breakfast they have a waffle iron to make fresh waffles, cold and hot cereal, danishes, fruit, and coffee.Rooms: Rooms are clean, spacious, have all the amenities you would expect.Food & drinks: For breakfast they have a waffle iron to make fresh waffles, cold and hot cereal, danishes, fruit, and coffee.”

“Recommend staying here: YesIzzie was a great hostess checking us in and out, all the while doing other duties including keeping the lobby breakfast area clean and inviting.Rooms: Very clean room! Comfortable bedding, excellent heat and a/c. Keep the fan set on “constant” to eliminate nearby highway noise. Wifi is slow sometimes but it doesn’t drop off. Nice TV.Nearby activities: IHOP and Subway are about a one-minute walk away… as are two gas stations with a variety of amenities for saleSafety: The close proximity to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) office, combined with a very well-illuminated parking lot, helps ensure your safety.Noteworthy details: Overall very nice. No hotel is perfect but the many upgrades show that management cares and is trying hard to continually improve guest comfort.”

“It's not a bad hotel. It was my first time here. There is a restaurant and a bar here. It was too late for us to order room service, but nice to know it is here. Room was clean as can be expected from any motel room. House keeping does a good job. It was quiet and there is breakfast here but cost $16.Hotel has a gym, spa and pool and Jacuzzi. Had a nice stay.”

“Just a short stay at a very reasonable price. Room and hotel were very clean. Breakfast was standard and delicious. Took off a star only because of the location noise due to highway traffic, such as sirens. Highway noise was not a problem. Nothing the hotel can do about it, but if you don't like outside noise this may not be the place for you.”

“There is a sign pointing to the pool. There is no pool. The website says the pool is closed for the season and scheduled to open May 1st. THERE IS NO POOL. The place where it used to be is now grass and a concrete patio.Either they are anticipating opening a new location or building a whole new pool or something. But as of Friday morning, December 29th, 2023, there is no pool in existence. To say it is merely closed is disingenuous at the least.Parking here is... adequate. But last time I stayed here my car glass was broken and stuff stolen. All I got was a "sorry" and permission to park directly in of the entrance. There was video but they never shared it with me or never figured out how to share it with me and they couldn't even get the plates from it.”

“I would give 5 stars but there was only one functional ice machine in the building that I could find. Otherwise I would have given it a 5. The room was nice, you could tell we're slightly newly remodeled. The TV had Netflix on it(sign in with your own account) The bed was comfortable. The shampoo, body wash and conditioner was also really pleasant smelling and felt really nice on my hair. I had brought my own stuff but decided to try that instead just to see. When we were there they had security on site which made us feel a lot safer.Safety: They had security on site at least during the night. Which was nice and made me feel safe.”

“Great business travelers hotel. Clean quiet, great breakfast options, snacks for sale, a bar and restaurant! The restaurant has limited offerings, think bar food, but is great of you need something quick. Great restaurants right across the street and a gas station connected to the same parking area. The gym was clean and well-kept. The printer in the business center is a little tricky, but manageable. Afternoon staff Anabel and Q were much more friendly and helpful than day staff, but overall everyone was very nice.Safety: I felt very safe. There was a homeless man across the street at the church, be he never came to the hotel area.”

“One of the first Residence Inns, I'm told. It's set up like an apartment complex with separate sections of rooms. If you like staying in an apartment-style hotel, then this is the place for you. Also, if you don't like walking outside to the gym on a cold morning, try to get a room in the gym's unit. That gym is quite small. It will be packed when there is more than one person.My room, on the other hand, was very spacious and stocked with everything for a long stay. It was clean and well maintained, but it's almost time for an upgrade. Some of my microwave's buttons didn't work, and I forgot to bring it up at checkout. If you get 1221, ask them about the buttons.The hot breakfast was okay. The scrambled eggs, though real, were dry and overcooked both mornings of my stay. There are many breakfast places in the vicinity if you're tired of the free stuff.”

“My family and I are stranded as we came to visit family and then we were struck by another vehicle totaling our vehicle and had to walk this town. We have no way back home so I transferred my job to be able to male money only to find it took job aver a month to transfer and then they had audacity to only schedule me 3-4 days a week not making enough to make ends meet. We are thankful for this place as it has kitchen and we are grateful for these people working with my family. Thank God we found this place and great rooms, great laundry room and bedding service. This is a clean place and great staff. Very friendly and so are the tenants. We are not sure what will happen as we put our stuff in storage and lost our place in Las Vegas. We are falling behind due to circumstances but great place giving the location and we are happy. HAPPY HOLIDAYS from the Devine Duran Family and Thank you Staff. We appreciate your kindness and compassion towards our family. “Stayed here because I like Hilton and the location was right next to the veterinary surgical center. The staff were phenomenal. I showed up early to eat my lunch in the lobby and the front desk came to let me know they had a nice room ready early. They were professional and courteous. The rooms are clean and spacious. Yes, they are a bit dated as far as furniture and decorations but everything is functional. I had a suite and had no issues with it. Shower had good pressure. Bathroom area had a nice nightlight. WiFi was reasonably fast and free. I was able to do an online class with it. Gym is small, but has one of everything. Breakfast was good, waffles, juices, yogurts, fruits, bread/toaster, oatmeal, and the hot items were a sausage egg “muffin topper” and sausage patties (bummer for vegetarian me, but there was enough other food). I would stay here again.”

Vanessa, Julie and the the young receptionist with black hair who wears all black have made our stay extremely welcoming, peaceful and pleasant. They have gone above and beyond to accompany our requests and have highly met our expectations as guests. Definitely deserving of all recognition!!”
