I googled repair shops in Bakersfield and found Kirby Co where I dropped off the vacuum. They kept me posted on what was being done, possible repairs and cost throughout the time they had it. “I needed to rent a pallet jack and I first called the usual places. The closest place I could find one was on the opposite side of town. It never occurred to me that I might rent one from Home Depot. One of the other rental places suggested I call HD, which I did. I found exactly what I needed and the HD location is less than ten minutes away. Thanks Home Depot!”

“Extremely satisfied in my last few purchases. Started off with washer and dryer combo and a refrigerator. Delivery was very prompt. Kudos to the delivery guys, my apartment is upstairs and they managed to bring the fridge up without a scratch. Second purchase was a TV, they didn't even hesitate to let me take it home because I had very good standing with my last account. Most recently returned to purchase a tv stand/electronic fireplace as a gift for my wife. Once again approved because of good account standing. Was able to take it home and set it up same day. If you don't understand this type of business you will have a bad time. You gotta remember they aren't financing money. It's a rent to own. They will do whatever it takes to make sure they don't lose out on their profits. They do provide assistance incase of unemployment or emergencies and you cant make a payment l. They also have 3 month same as cash. I read most of the reviews left on here and was very surprised but at the same time I dont blame Aarons because energy will be reciprocated. Working in the customer service industry Bakersfield does not have the kindest customers. Thank you Aarons for taking care of my family needs. I will definitely be back!”

He helped us around the store and answered all of our questions and would suggest things he thought we would like but was not overwhelming about it. We made our purchase, which I felt was a fair price and our items were dlivered within the hour. The movers carried the items up to my second story and set them up right where I requested. “The guys that pick up and deliver are great.Brian and Ricardo. They are so helpful and nice. Highly recommend them. But the guy I the store Angel is awful. He never returns my calls, always says he’ll get back to me but I have to call several times before I get any results. He has poor customer support. I definitely would not recommend the Olive Drive store in Bakersfield solely because of him. Ken, the general manager gets things done and delivery and pick up guys Brian and Ricardo are great. Highly recommend them.”

“Got some great advice today from Rick Gore at Ferguson waterworks on Fairview. Our Mutual Water company was planning on doing capital improvements. I called Rick with some questions,he said come on down and we'll figure it out. You can't miss Ferguson's on Fairview their yard is stacked high with all sizes of blue C-900 PVC pipe, pallets of every size valves and fittings for all your water system needs. Semi trucks were being unloaded it's a busy place. The warehouse is huge and its stocked full with material everything pipeline contractors and plumbers need. The administration and showroom area where Ricks office is, is loaded with construction and installation tools, power and hand. Safety is foremost at Ferguson this large area was well stocked. I also noticed the delicious aroma of freshly popped popcorn. I was at the right place for sure. Rick met with me for 25 minutes we discussed my needs went over material and installation. Rick suggested some alternatives we hadn't considered. I left with printed quotes for the material we required had my questions answered throughly.and got some valuable suggestions. Rick and all the friendly staff at Ferguson are true professionals. I'll be back to make my order soon.Their popcorn was outstanding too.”

“I can't believe all the bad reviews on here for these guys. They have been absolutely amazing to me. Marvin was a very easy going salesman, sold me an amazing product I've always wanted and was able to help make it affordable with my budget as far as payments go. My carpet had never felt as clean or fluffs back up to the point I can see my footprints in it after I vacuum even after a professional has come and cleaned them since I've purchased and used the Kirby's avalir 2. It's the vacuum and carpet shampooer combo. Kirby's are heavy and expensive BECAUSE they are built to last as long as you MAINTAIN them regularly like you would a car. Every 2-3 months you check the belt, the bag, the hoses, etc. And replace as needed. People spend thousands each year on the newest phones that only last 2-3 years but complain about a vacuum that as long as you MAINTAIN it, will last you 15+ yrs. Since they've started making them with aluminum they're not nearly as heavy as the ones my GMA and Mom have that are steal by the way. Read the fine print on stuff before you buy it is common sense. If you get financed through their financing I suggest paying it off as quickly as possible or see if you can get a better rate with a personal loan and call them back if you really want it though.”

“Home Depot on Gosford is worth the extra few miles. This store has friendly helpful employees. I needed one can of Rust-oleum spray paint a special color (rustic orange) to finish my Xmas gift for my grandson, 2 other HD stores couldn't help me. The paint department is the best of all the depots in town. Thanks to Ian he was in the holiday mood. Their inventory is never out of stock in any color you may need. While I was there I was Impressed with how clean and well stocked the store was. The holiday section was almost completely sold out, except for one lonely 8' decorated tree standing tall and bright. The season is almost over this tree won't last it will find a lucky family. I made it over to the lumber section all the wood was squared up and fully stocked up high, it looked great. Garden, appliance, hardware departments were Just as impressive. I needed assistance at the checkout because I was buying spray paint. My associate was prompt and fun I assured her I wasn't a tagger her name was covered on her apron I highly recommend this Home Depot on Gosford Leonard Welte”
