“My 45 year old vacuum I thought was broken beyond repair. I started looking for a new one, but held out hope that my old one could be renewed. I googled repair shops in Bakersfield and found Kirby Co where I dropped off the vacuum. They kept me posted on what was being done, possible repairs and cost throughout the time they had it. He made some "adjustments", and suddenly we were DONE and I was headed to check-out with Maricela!! Shoppin ANYWHERE should be an enjoyable experience. Often times we are in a RUSH. It is SO frustrating when it feels like we are the only person in the entire store!! Just LOST!! These two need a RAISE!! :)”
“I can't believe all the bad reviews on here for these guys. They have been absolutely amazing to me. Marvin was a very easy going salesman, sold me an amazing product I've always wanted and was able to help make it affordable with my budget as far as payments go. My carpet had never felt as clean or fluffs back up to the point I can see my footprints in it after I vacuum even after a professional has come and cleaned them since I've purchased and used the Kirby's avalir 2. It's the vacuum and carpet shampooer combo. Kirby's are heavy and expensive BECAUSE they are built to last as long as you MAINTAIN them regularly like you would a car. Every 2-3 months you check the belt, the bag, the hoses, etc. And replace as needed. People spend thousands each year on the newest phones that only last 2-3 years but complain about a vacuum that as long as you MAINTAIN it, will last you 15+ yrs. Since they've started making them with aluminum they're not nearly as heavy as the ones my GMA and Mom have that are steal by the way. Read the fine print on stuff before you buy it is common sense. If you get financed through their financing I suggest paying it off as quickly as possible or see if you can get a better rate with a personal loan and call them back if you really want it though.”

“I love this store. I got my A/C, washer, dryer, computer. JC and the rest of them are cool. I like to go in there and dance while I look around. They always have upbeat music playing that makes me wanna dance. I got the Aarons club membership when I bought my stuff. It includes roadside assistance, which came in handy when I had an unexpected tire blow on me.”
“Home Depot on Gosford is worth the extra few miles. This store has friendly helpful employees. I needed one can of Rust-oleum spray paint a special color (rustic orange) to finish my Xmas gift for my grandson, 2 other HD stores couldn't help me. The paint department is the best of all the depots in town. Thanks to Ian he was in the holiday mood. Their inventory is never out of stock in any color you may need. While I was there I was Impressed with how clean and well stocked the store was. The holiday section was almost completely sold out, except for one lonely 8' decorated tree standing tall and bright. The season is almost over this tree won't last it will find a lucky family. I made it over to the lumber section all the wood was squared up and fully stocked up high, it looked great. Garden, appliance, hardware departments were Just as impressive. I needed assistance at the checkout because I was buying spray paint. My associate was prompt and fun I assured her I wasn't a tagger her name was covered on her apron I highly recommend this Home Depot on Gosford Leonard Welte”
