The place is well maintained.I would like to particularly thank Vincent Harper, my key contact of the apartment who has been very responsible and considerate in many ways on the process of application and leasing. He is also very knowledgeable and resourceful. He always returns missed calls and is very efficient in responding to my questions and requests too.Emily and Victor are also very friendly and helpful. “UPDATE: ISSUE RESOLVEDAs promised I am updating my review upon positive and timely proaction by the Amli team. After my last review and complaint about a recurring water issue it has finally been addressed and fully taken care of by the Amli team. I am very happy with the outcome and am grateful to everyone involved. I can finally wash my dishes in hot sink water! That was the only issue I have had living here and now it’s resolved. I am still waiting for a credit I was told I’d get for the trouble but I trust they will get that credit back hopefully soon. Thanks to the Amli team, I am very happy being a resident.—————————————————Old review: November 30, 2023I didn’t want to do this but I am so frustrated. I have lived here for five months and I DO NOT GET HOT WATER In my kitchen sink! Half the time I don’t get it in my bathroom sink. I have called maintenance multiple times regarding this issue. Fidel is always quick to respond to my maintenance requests but in regards to the constant water complaint I always get the same response, “I don’t get hot water either so it’s not only you.” That answer does not make me feel better. I am paying over $3,000/mo plus utilities for this apartment. And at this point it is beyond Fidel, management needs to step in and take this seriously. I am having to wash my dishes in my bathtub IN A LUXERY APARTMENT. I have to laugh to keep from crying.One month ago I sent yet another email to the office complaining about this and Alex sent the maintenance manager Albert to my apartment to check for himself. He comes in, sees for himself I don’t get hot water, tells me it’s because I’m on the top floor there is a “delay” in getting hot water, tells me he’ll throw in a $20 credit and leaves. Haven’t heard anything from anyone.Let me clarify, This is not a “delay”, I DO NOT get hot water at all in the kitchen sink. I’ve tested running the water on blast for twenty minutes and it doesn’t get hot. I’ve talked to multiple top floor neighbors and they say their water gets hot with no problem. To add insult to injury I pay higher rent for being on the top floor, yet management is telling me the top floor gets water slower?I do love living here, but there is something about bad service that puts an impenetrably bad taste in one’s mouth. In the lease, lack of hot water is listed as an essential and critical priority, yet I’ve dealt with this ongoing for five months to no avail. I hope this gets to the asset manager of this property.If and when this issue gets resolved I will update my review rating. If I haven’t updated my review, that means this issue still has not been addressed.”

“I wish to give 5+ stars to Valerie Brooks, the amazing on-site property manager at Cypress Park Apartments. She is professional, polished, efficient, responsive, knowledgeable, attentive, communicative, flexible, caring and above all, genuinely kind. My family and I were able to transition from a stressful living situation to our new home and community at Cypress Park Apts in large thanks to Valerie and her efficiency. She made us feel welcome from our first tour of the beautifully renovated unit to the exciting moment when she handed us the keys. The grounds are clean, onsite laundry and parking are not an issue, and there are two pools, convenient community and business centers that are great for remote work. Valerie’s constant efforts to improve the community are apparent as well. Valerie and Jose, who handles the onsite building maintenance, make a great team. We are so happy here!”

He was really nice and super helpful and really friendly to talk to he always helps out me and my wife whenever we need something for our apartment I would highly recommend Rick if u wanna move here he will take care of u and ur family!”

“Lived in the community for 3 years October 2020-2023. While it is a bit on expensive side I have no regrets about living in the community.The staff are all absolutely amazing. Very friendly and personable. The maintenance team is top tier and are very responsive. Everyone in the leasing office is great as well. By far the best staff I've ever had in a complex. I've had to move a lot for work so I have dealt with many.The amenities are really nice and have a nice luxury feel to them. Great pool, dog park, hot tub, dog washing station and gym. Even during COVID things were handled so well. If you wanted to use any amenities all you had to do was reserve it via the community app.The apartments are well designed, everything looks fantastic. No issues with the Internet and the nest thermostat was a nice touch. Even though it's in downtown Long Beach the sound proofing is REALLY great. I didn't have any issues sleeping at night in regards to noise outside. Occasionally people would walk or stand in the hallway having loud conversations as if no one was present. I will say it's very easy to hear what goes on in the hallway but this doesn't happen often. One thing you should know (at least with my apartment) is that the washer and dryer are very small. Do not expect to wash large sheets in it. Again, this could just be my 1 bedroom 1 bath.The location has it's pros and cons. You're in downtown Long Beach so you're near a LOT of great things. Many restaurants and bars (Saints and Sinners is a great bakery to walk to every morning). There were many events that took place directly outside my balcony. It was very cool to step out and walk to so many great places. The con of the location is that it's downtown Long Beach. I didn't always feel safe and even encountered racism and indecent exposure during my time there. Sometimes houseless individuals will manage to get into the building if someone doesn't close the door all the way (sometimes they don't close but it gets fixed). There's also issues with the gate to the private parking not working sometimes. This has led to break-ins and even things taken from my own vehicle. The complex has hired a much better security company to patrol and I haven't seen any issues since. However the gate still breaks and stays open from time to time. Friendly neighbors, although a lot of them have poor gym etiquette often refusing to wipe down equipment after use or put it back up and refuse to pick up their dog's waste in the dog park despite supplies being provided.I think that is all the cost of living downtown. The staff does everything they can to make you feel safe and cared for but they can only do so much. All in all to summarize things; yes I'd stay here again. Great location, great staff and great apartment complex.”

“We have been here for 4 years and Service assistants Juan and Alex are amazing! Very hard workers and always respond quickly for repairs to anything in the home. We had a few bugs but they treated within a day or two every time- and I would say I have never seen a place so roach free as apartments go. Anayelli, the apartment manager is extremely helpful, kind, and a sweet person. She is easy to talk to and helps out if there is ever any problems. I really enjoyed living here and am sad to go. Aside from limited parking and some dog poo (people fail to pick up sometimes but the office hired new staff to clean it up) its awesome! everyone working here is amazing.”

“My husband and I moved in a few months ago and we have loved every day we have been here. We love that the apartments are gated and not anyone can just come inside, they are always kept clean. We have not met many neighbors but I think everyone just is so comfortable at home. It's such a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I truly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to not think twice about it. Maria is a wonderful, patient and so helpful person and is ready to answer all questions anyone has. She is also a very kind person that always has a smile on her face. We love that there is also a handyman Manuel on sight for any issues that anyone has. We have two grills available for use, a pool and two laundry rooms. Most importantly is that all neighbors respect each other and always greet no matter if they know you or not.”

[unlike some places] now switched units to face the beach and queen mary - AMAZING! my fave staff members alex & manager, phil [super nice, sweet, friendly, awesome people] that make you feel good living here. treats and responds to you in a timely manner and feels like were all friends! not just your typical leasing office experience. highly recommend living here if you're big on views and want a more chill environment thats not over crowded or dont have to spend forever waiting on staff members to respond. We parked at the pike, got validated at startbuck and walked over to get free parking for 2 hrs. The theater parking is $15, so no way! Lol. Can't wait for 2024 winterland!”

“Let me just start by saying that having moved here from my last complex, has been an ABSOLUTE blessing! Why? You ask? Well.. if I had to pick one specific answer, then I would have to say. "Sarah." The Kimberly Terrace Apartments Complex manager. Due to her highest level of professionalism, great customer service, along with impeccable punctuality, you pretty much have it made here. Sarah is just on top of it. You have a maintenance request, and she's got someone in your place no later than 24 hours. Issues with other tenants, she's immediately there to squash and amend. You can tell when someone truly loves their job, by the way that they show how much they care in doing it; and this is Sarah. This is a nice quiet complex with GROWN ADULTS who all just go about their lives and days. No drama. And always a smile and greet amongst other tenants in passing by. I made the PERFECT CHOICE when I came here. And you should do the same! I love it when. I walk through my front door, and enjoy 'my home'”

“The manager in my prior posts no longer work here. Other than The previous manager, I have nothing bad to say about this place. We've made great relationships with everyone we lived by. We spent COVID here. Of course it was hard for a lot of people and not just us. Either way. Great location and a great place for anyone to call home, even with its little flaws. Wouldn't have lived here almost 6 years if it's wasn't worth it.”
