“Dixon& Son Tires has been around since God made dirt. That's a long time. They had good customer service then and they have managed to get a little better. They are polite, helpful, and professional. Dusty is the manager and a straight shooter. If it can be reasonably done he insures it. They're grubby because their work is grubby but they are conscientious when working on your vehicle. They are simply all around good people. Do I believe in them? Yep...I drive all the way from Hollister to deal with them. Knock on wood..... haven't had a bum trip yet.....”

“Hadn't realized that the tires on a car not frequently driven were over ten years old. I needed a new set. I bought a very very reasonably priced set (I checked) and they were put on within 40 minutes. It took a little extra time because the special lock lug nuts fractured, they were so old. Not a problem. They handled this set back professionally and did not charge extra, which would normally be the case. I've dealt with Castroville Tire several time now and they are excellent. Very easy to work with and honest.”
“I was in Gilroy on a trip and accidentally ran my tire into a curb, and the sidewall completely tore! It was 1 pm on a Friday and I was calling EVERYWHERE nearby as I couldn't drive too fast or far. “Prunedale Tires was extremely helpful during my auto emergency today. I was driving a company fleet car on the 101 when the back left tire blew out. I got off at the nearest exit which happened to be on Reese Circle, stopped on the side of the road, and gave them a call. They picked up immediately and were able to find an appropriate tire for my company’s Prius.
It seemed like a really busy day for them with lots of people coming and going from the lot. Mr. Rigo squeezed me into the schedule immediately after he wrapped up the customer he was with. Within 15 minutes they had my tire replaced.
I am so grateful they were quick, fair, and did not give me the run-around. Otherwise I would not have been able to make it to my business meetings that evening, and would have had more headache to deal with. Thank you!”

“Very fast shipping and installation. I had placed the order for my Toyo open country at3 tires on August 27th and was able to make an appointment for August 29th. Tires were ready the next day and I received a call notifying me that they were ready. I dropped my car off and within the hour it was ready for pick up. “We always stop at Costco Gas station on our way to and from LA. We were on our way to LA with 2 dogs in the car when we pulled up to fill the tank and noticed a flat tire. Their next appointment was at 7pm and we couldn't wait an entire day at Costco... Jose saved the day and took us in immediately and repaired our flat in 45 minutes! It would have been a super stressful situation looking for a repair shop Sunday morning without Jose's help. Highly recommend their great customer service!”

The guys there at the Watsonville Firestone explained everything to me in plain language so I knew exactly what my options were.
