Snowball Pet Grooming
200 S 1st Ave, ArcadiaSnowball Pet Grooming is the best. Him and his wife are so kind and helpful. They treated my dog Macy with so much love and are amazing with the details! Excellent service, good prices, and a job well done. This was my rescue dogs first groom ever. I was nervous because she can’t be without me she gets very sad and scared. When I picked her up she was happy and not scared at all. Thank you so much!

Goki - Bakehouse & Coffee Shop
214 N First Ave, ArcadiaStaying at a hotel nearby, in need of a great coffee fix. I was so happy to come across Goki cafe. Super cute cafe, nice seating layout. A bar area to post up with your laptop to do some work or a little table to enjoy your breakfast. Lovely.
I had the avocado toast and house salad, a generous heap of spinach with strawberries and balsamic dressing. The avocado toast had this cotija cheese crumbled on top of the creamy avocado served on a lightly toasted baguette, amazing. The iced coffee was exactly what I wanted it be. Delicious! I got a slice of banana nut bread for a sweet treat later, it was soft and sweet.
This breakfast spot was so nice I came back the next day and had it again. Fantastic!
Service was excellent, friendly staff, great recommendations.

Shwe Taung Restaurant
305 N Santa Anita Ave Suite A, ArcadiaGreat Tea Salad. Texture, flavor, good portion as well. Beef Curry was excellent if a but oily but very authentic, it's subtle spicing reflected more Chinese than Indian. Flaky Bread was great with the Curry. Coconut Noodle was quite bland and didn't come with crisp Noodles as it has in the dozen or so places I have had this dish(mostly Bay Area Restaurants). It did come with a number of crispy items on a plate, I threw them all in, but it still seemed under seasoned. Tea Rice with Egg and Chicken was interesting, a new experience. Fresh Juice drinks were good and Service was sincere and friendly.

Monarch Donuts
15 W Huntington Dr, ArcadiaThe sweetest person runs this establishment! I walked up at 6:15am and was greeted with a "good morning sunshine" instant smile on my face. And not to mention the donuts!! Super good and savory! I really only came for coffee, I'm not a big fan of donuts. I grabbed one anyways, and it was so good and fluffy!

Churnt Creamery
400 S Baldwin Ave #9046, ArcadiaThis ice cream shop is a pop-up (probably permanent pop-up) in The Shops at Santa Anita. I loved the free sample they offered! The server is so generous in offering the samples. The croffle is the best we’ve had for a long time, warm and so yummy. I especially enjoyed the matcha and hojicha, both made with ceremonial-grade tea. The ice cream did not disappoint me either. Totally recommend for sugar craves!

Flavor Fusions
420 S 1st Ave, ArcadiaGreat food. Good service. Funky outdoor Hawaiian joint. Hospitable Chef/Owner was very helpful in navigating the menu, a mix of traditional and re-imagined Japanese dishes. The food reminds me of the long gone Holiday Bowl of my youth. Gourmet attention paid to texture and flavors. Generous portions on the Bento Box and Donburis we ordered left us with enough food for late night snacking later that day. Innovative beverage menu gave us some interesting drink (non-alcoholic) options. We'll be back!

Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, Arcadia, California
733 W Naomi Ave I, ArcadiaOne of the boba places I tried next to Menya Hanabi. This isn’t a place to really sit down, it is a place to get your drink and go. There are two self serve touch screens where you can place your order, and it is nice that your name will show up on the screen to let you know approximately when your drink is ready. It seems this is a franchise so there are other places that serve the same, but this was my first experience and I think it is worth a try.
I decided to give the waffle a try, my kid enjoyed it. The passion fruit drink I got was decent, but the seeds inside were quite hard.
I like how modern the place is, but it seems to be a lot more pricier than some other places that I have been to in this city. I think my bill for 5-6 drinks and a snack was about $60. I believe I could have gone to another place and max would have been $40.
Worth a try, if especially if you are eating in the plaza. Until next time

Pressed Juicery
400 S Baldwin Ave Suite T - 62, ArcadiaI really like their non-dairy ice cream (freeze). They have multiple flavors: my favorites are chocolate and açaí. This location is located across from the Cheesecake Factory at The Shops at Santa Anita. The non-diary ice cream tastes refreshing, healthy and delicious. You get to choose 3 toppings for the small size. If you join the VIP membership which is $10 per month, you get VIP discounts on juices/ice cream. The VIP discounts vary every month. The $10 you pay is the money you can use towards purchases. You can stop the VIP membership anytime. This has been my new go to place when I want a healthy sweet treat at the mall before all the hard work, I meant shopping begins! The interior is clean and modern. There are counters that face out the window to the outside and bar stools. I have been here twice. The first time I was there service was excellent. Today the service wasn't as good. They ran out the chocolate syrup so the chocolate flavored freeze was not available. The guy seemed a bit annoyed to have to explain that to me. All in all, in addition to their fresh juices, the non-dairy ice cream is worth a try!
