4100 Live Oak Ave, Arcadia“I initially got an appointment with Safelite and my insurance had sent me to Caliber. The quotes I received for those were $849 and $729 respectively. My wife did some research and found Doctor Auto Glass and they quoted me at $400. I was initially suspicious but Googling, review diving, and going through Reddit - I found that they were pretty trustworthy.
I am so grateful to my wife for finding them, the service was fast, I would have had to taken a whole day off with the others. Dr Auto Glass finished it within an hour. Enough time for me to go on a walk and grab lunch. The windshield seemed "oddly" placed to me initially - like the top part was not under the rubber but - I honestly cannot confirm if that was initially the case from stock. I tried looking at other windshields on other cars and yeah - some of them were under the rubber seal others were not, it was 50/50 so I am chalking that up to me not being observant. It is not DEAD center, maybe a few millimeters more to the driver side but its such a nitpick on my part, I literally had to get a ruler to verify.
I wanted to be sure I mentioned those as they aren't deal breakers, it just stood out to me. With that said, the seal is amazing, no win noise, excellent clarity, honestly I sounded negative in the previous paragraph but that was just to ensure all details are accounted for. I would go back to Dr Auto Glass every time now. The price is unbeatable. The people were friendly. The work is extremely solid. This is a great business and the results speak for themselves - highly recommended and they will be my go to for all future incidents and cars!”
“A rat got into our Prius and completely destroyed the back seat. Looked like the thing had been through a mulcher. Bourret found fabric that was a nearly perfect match even though the car is over 10 years old. Thanks to Bourret the seat now looks like new at a fraction of the cost of replacing it completely!”
“Would highly recommend EMW for service. The attention to detail and highly professional nature of the shop is excellent. My 528i need a lot of work to bring it back to life. literally, and EMW was very upfront and transparent with what needed to be done. Though more $ then I expected to expense, not their fault, just the nature of the service required and I felt comfortable with going ahead with the work and was assured that the car would be on the road for many more miles in the future. Would use again as John does care about his customers and their concerns.”
“Most of us don't look forward to visiting a body shop. But when the need arises, Joey's IS the place. My Honda's front bumper took a strong uppercut from a curb, knocking it ajar. Joey:
1. Listened to me, what I wanted. I was hoping to salvage the large plastic bumper IF possible (less waste). Other shops just said they'd replace everything (easy labor, more parts).
2. Rough estimate was lower than other shops.
3. Good reviews from other customers
4. Convenient location
5. State Farm approved
As I needed the car, I didn't take it in for the actual repair for another 2 weeks. Joey remembered me and what we'd discussed, showing you're a person. Never felt rushed in our discussions; Joey took the time for a personal service. He said he'd call in a couple of hours with the exact quote. 2 hours later, he did, and it was less than the rough estimate. He did need to replace the bumper but he explained why. Said it would be ready in 3 working days. 3rd day, he called, said it was ready.
Repairs were excellent, bumper seamless, no wind noise.
Excellent work, excellent customer service, excellent price, all done in excellent time. Hoping to not have to revisit a body shop, but if I ever do, Joey's would be the place I'd go.”
