If nothing else take your kids in and just have them look around it's cheaper than going to the zoo and closer you won't be disappointed if you're into reptiles.”

“I called around to several groomers this morning hoping for an appointment early next week, but when Michelle's Pampered Pets told me they could squeeze my pup in today, I was absolutely willing to take him in. I brought my sweet boy in for a bath and nail trim and was not disappointed. The groomer was extra gentle with him when I told her he had arthritis in his hindquarters, his spine in particular. At 10 years old, his separation anxiety has also progressed, but he survived 2 hours without me and was clearly comfortable with the people who took such good care of him.”

“I recommend that every new fish owner comes here for a new set up! I became so informed on how to take care of fish because of Julie! She is very knowledgeable on starting off fish tanks! She makes she that you start off slow for a proper fish tank set up. It takes about 4-6 weeks for your tank to properly build a healthy environment for fish to live in! Don't let people sell you fish from the start! If you want to become a successful fish owner, come here!”

“Tractor Supply (TSC) is one of the stores that fills a great niche for the community of Apple Valley and surrounding cities. Thy sell a lot of feed and farming equipment/supplies, but I've found them to be really reasonable for dog food, rabbit food and hay, and your regular hardware store needs. I like to work on all things automotive, and this place has been great for things such as nuts, bolts, and screws. Unlike your big box stores, TSC sells their hardware in bulk by the pound. So getting a dozen grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers are under 6-8 bucks vs paying 4 bucks for one of these "speciality bolts" at the big hardware stores. Their hardware is neatly organized compared to the mess found elsewhere. These higher grade bolts are pricey and usually hard to find unless you go to a specialty nuts and bolts place like nutty bolts in Hesperia. They also sell a lot of specialty hardware like metal spacers, stainless hardware, nylon spacers, etc. and things that are quite pricey elsewhere for these speciality items.It's nice to have this kind of retail store up the HD. Employees are friendly and seem to care about working there. They even have a dog wash room that includes all the supplies and even a drying station to give your dog a bath. Just a warning though with the dryer and small room size, dog hair may be flying all over the place depending on your dog.”

“I have never had an issue with Sea Otter. I have always had great success with fish I have purchased here. I feel a lot of the negative reviews are from aquarium novices that do not listen to everything they are told. They hear what they want and that’s it. I know when I first started I rushed and couldn’t wait to get fish in my new tank. I didn’t want to listen to anyone about cycling my tank first to eliminate ammonia spikes. When ur new, cycling doesn’t make sense. Setting up a tank takes patience. Knowledge isn’t cheap and sometimes you have to listen and take in everything your being told not just what you want to hear.Remember that business owners make their money on repeat customers, not the one timers. It’s in their best interest to make sure you’re treated properly and satisfied when you leave the store so you come back again. It’s foolish to think that any small business owner wouldn’t do what it takes to satisfy each customer. Sea Otter has always treated me with nothing but professionalism and I will continue to shop here for all my aquatic needs.”

“Absolutely the best pet supply in the HD. Friendly and professional staff and If you ask a question they don't have the answer to they will find out for you! ( A rarity anymore!) I've been shopping there for 20 years. Gail and Kaylee are very knowledgeable! I am so happy that they flourished even after this crazy pandemic. Highly recommended!”
