“Booked an appointment here for the first time last week and absolutely love and recommend them! They let you wait in your car while a room is prepared, which helped my pup's anxiety massively. The team made sure I was with him as long as possible and only brought him to the back for five or so minutes. The vet, vet techs, vet assistants, and support staff were all kind and listened attentively to my thoughts and needs and responded accordingly. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy procedures that weren't absolutely necessary. Last and definitely not least, I was wearing a shirt which designated my pronouns as they/them. Not only did the staff compliment me multiple times on the shirt; they also correctly gendered me, which is above and beyond any veterinarian's office I've ever been in. Will definitely be using them in the future! :)”

“Went there to get a consultation done to my dog, got an estimate to the surgery before anything was done and then proceeded with it. Answered all of my concerns and what to expect post op. Everybody from the front staff to the veterinarian were hospitable and friendly. Will be going there more frequently now.”

“I took my senior dog in to check her cough. She was diagnosed with a heart murmur 5 years ago so I thought that could be causing her cough. Turns out she has an enlarged heart. Dr. Lee was very thorough and explained everything in detail. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He suggested medication and special food. She no longer coughs and is doing much better. Thanks Dr. Lee!”

“I had a kitty that passed away the end of November. We rescued a kitty couple weeks later that we were told had a clean bill of health. He did not. Original vet we took him to did alright, but he just wasn’t getting better. Took him to Anchor and found out he had a sort of rare type of infection affecting his ear. This doctor had not had a similar case in seven years. I was made aware that this doctor performs surgeries at night and with that l left Brutus in their care for the night. The next day I was told that his surgery was a challenge, but it was also a success. He cares about every animal he sees within his practice. He explains in detail what is wrong and a plan of action for getting your fur-baby healthy. His staff is compassionate and competent. I am grateful this veterinarian is here for my boy. They are amazing. THANK YOU!”

“Dr. So is great. We had an urgent matter with our labrador and our regular vet could not fit us in telling us to go to emergency. This is the second time our regular vet has done this to us - Sunshine Vet really nice but won't accommodate you for urgent matters that come up. But Dr. So made the time to see us immediately and our dog did require surgery which we had Dr. So perform it since our regular vet would not make the time to see her. Our dog is doing great now. We really appreciate Dr. So being there for us and fitting us into his regular schedule. We'll be using Dr. So from now on.”

“Last week my family made the hard decision to euthanize our family dog after almost having her for 15 years. It was the hardest decision we’ve ever had to make and one that doesn’t come lightly. Unfortunately, my parents were out of town and so that left me and my brother with the responsibility of having to do it all on our own. When we brought our dog in, immediately the staff was incredibly empathetic and walked us through every little detail of the process with such patience and made us feel so comfortable, knowing we were making the right call.The staff gave us as much time as we wanted in our final moments with our sweet girl, never rushing to give the room up to another patient. We had all the time in the world and it felt evident. When we decided we were ready, Dr. Tateyama came in and asked if we had ever been present when putting a pet down, which we had not before. He calmed us and told us everything that could happen and that every reaction was completely natural and normal, reassuring us that he would be present every step of the way. When she passed peacefully, the staff asked if we wanted her to be taken or if we wanted to have more time. Again, never prying and always leading with patience and compassion.This morning, my family opened a card that was from Dr. Tateyama, which he had hand-written and mailed to our home, stating his deepest condolences with losing a family pet and reiterating that our decision was hard, but one made out of love.My family and I are blown away with the incredible care and love from the staff of this hospital and we would recommend this establishment to anyone who wants to be taken care of, as well as their pet. I promise you are in good hands here.I just want to thank the staff on behalf of my entire family for the care, compassion, and love shown to us throughout the entire process. You are all exceptional and we are so immensely grateful.”

“I stopped by today to pick up some cat shampoo and while there an elderly lady came in thinking she had left her phone on the counter during checkout. The young lady at checkout looked around and in the drawers but didn't see it. She went to check with the other young lady working who had helped the lady check out. When they came back the second employee told the elderly lady that she had put her phone into the Petco bag with her purchases and even went outside with the lady to check for the phone. Sure enough the phone was in the bag. It gave me so much joy to see these young employees treat this elderly customer with such kindness and respect. By the way, I was helped in the same manner to find my shampoo. Way to go Petco!”

“We love Petco Anaheim Hills for our dog grooming. We have 3 small dogs and 100% recommend Acacia! She is the nicest, sweetest person with our dogs. She takes her time and completely respects our wishes for each dog. In the past, other grooming facilities would often tell us we need to completely shave our dogs because of a little undercoat matting. Acacia takes her time and has never once told us we need to shave our dogs. I highly recommend Acacia for your dog grooming services !!! Our dogs LOVE her!!”
