Walmart and Ralph's turned me away, despite my ability to provide the security question and answer. The employee at Wal Mart was so rude n didn't even try to be helpful in any way. The Ralph's that the Western Union app Sent me to didn't even offer western union service anymore. Stressed out n spending the last of my money on Ubers to get to these locations, I was feeling defeated. That's when I stumbled upon this store and met its incredible owner. Not only did she provide the Western Union pick-up service, but she was also exceptionally understanding, so helpful, kind, and sweet. “I am a Stater Bros customer for at least 30 yrs or more I love this SB on State College I have always been treated very well and have never had a problem with any of the employees . If I ever needed help with anything I was kindly helped. The only thing I noticed is that the young baggers need to be trained on what items to bag together keep cold items together not with canned items and don't put too many heavy items in one bag it s too heavy for an older person to carry if someone comes in with cooling bags don't put cans or non cold items in it. They just need to be trained that's all. I love all the cashiers and deli,bakery,produce employees too,some I know by name,thank you Tina,Alicia,Anthony, Dave,just to name a few and I have to say that the current store manager is great!!

“Wow! There are so many options at Seafood City Supermarket. You could come here to do your grocery shopping and fill up your stomach with baked goods from the bakery or food from the hot deli station. My boyfriend and I chose a two item combo plate with beef kare kare and pork adobo and an order of their steamed buns. The steamed buns came with a dipping sauce, but we thought that the filling already had plenty of flavor. The buns were fluffy and hot. It was a perfect snack. The beef kare kare and pork adobo paired really nicely with the rice since they are both saucy dishes; however, the meat was a bit tough and not as tender as we would've liked. The flavors were still good, though. Next time, we want to try the meat skewers and the lechon!”

“I love this little market. At first I was skeptical because I've been to a few mom-and-pop markets where the food will go bad within the same week. However not here! The food lasted me the whole month and their prices are very reasonable. It also helps that most of it is prepackaged and priced so just don't have to go through the hassle of weighing it out with a toddler and newborn. They also allow you to get any amount of formula, no max like the grocery store does. So that means I can get everything I need in 1 trip rather than 2-3 trips to get all the formula. They also let you pay the remaining balance in cash/card which is helpful if you go over a bit. They also not only bag and put everything on a cart for you but they also push the cart out to your car and help you load. This is extremely helpful as I said I have two younglings to wrangle, which is usually a pain in the butt at normal grocery stores. Their parking lot isn't that big because they share with other businesses and a WIC office but it's better than no parking or having to pay for it. I really appreciate the workers too. They were so kind to me the first time and I was able to get as much as possible for my family. I live in Whittier but I make the drive down here because the fruit and vegetables are high quality. They also have large portions, I got huge pomegranate, dragon fruit and Asian pears that were massive and delicious compared to other grocers. I would recommend them to everyone!!!”

Tortillería items also in great variety of sizes for your specific needs. Of course tostadas and chips too!Made right there in the tienda!Salsa and guacamole in several varieties tambien!Not to mention their produce section, replete with the usual variety we're used to plus exotics like dragon fruit and coconuts, pomegranates and jamaica (hibiscus flowers). Even tamarindo for those refreshing (agüas frescas) drinks we all love.You also have just about any type of dry beans, legumes and rice in bulk for value.My favorite is their 'taco kit', which is 3 kinds of marinated and chopped meat ready for the plancha (griddle).
