“I walked into the store.... saw the groceries I needed as I walked down the aisles and put them in my basket...... purchased groceries..... left the store and enjoyed my food. Joking aside though, Trader Joe's is the coolest Joe I'll trade with. Always a great selection”

“If you're looking for freshest produce outside of a farmers market you go here. The people there are always nice and helpful, especially when you find yourself shuffling around during off peak hours. I see the same people and it's just a nice feeling. They aren't that big but they carry enough meats, cheeses, breads and eggs to keep a household ready for anything. I love this place.”
“I had such an incredible experience at this location today. Amanda, my checkout clerk, who happens to be the manager, was amazing start to finish. She was so friendly when I first got into line, did not seem irritated/encouraged me to go find the item I did not find the first time around, insisted someone get me a cart as my hands were full and the bags were stuffed, and on top of that, went and had someone find me an item in the back that was not on the shelf. Amazing service and great staff. Thank you!”

“There are some things I found in the bakery department that are just absolutely addictive - as they have low to zero sugar, low to zero flavorings and just natural goodness. Those are the only things I buy here. Apart from that they have a good selection of fresh produce - which is very welcome. Prices are generally on the higher side with the whole "Organic" vibe. There's a lot of hipster type items as well which I don't care for. But hey it's all good if the quality is there - which I found was. Also it's clean and not stuffy. It's a great store to have in the neighborhood.”

“The place is very convenient, good variety for middle eastern stuff. The cashier Momen was extremely nice. The butcher there was very rude, he wasn’t nice to the customers nor the employees. If you asked him to cut some meat for you, he will tell you “you can do it at home”. If I can do it at home why I am asking you.”

“I always get their house made salads - herring under the coat and the Georgian style ones are great. Whenever the business owner is there, he always tries to talk to you and ask if he can help with your choice. You can tell he cares about the business. The house made pelmeni are also tasty!”

“High marks due to wide variety and reasonable prices. Known for fruit and veggies but carries lots more: cheese/dairy, baked goods, spices, ethnic food -- and much more. It's a small speciality store next door to the one of the best speciality stores: Trader Joe's. I quibble a bit as I regularly find berries that are moldy and veggies with soft spots. Some yelpers complain about the staff. They can be perfunctory but I've never seen them be rude. Base your own groceries to speed things up.”

“Small but worthy! This location isn’t terribly big but it has some great options probably geared towards the residents it shares a parking lot with. Great if you’re into fitness or healthy eating. Animal-based proteins like hydrolyzed bone-broth, collagen peptides, and lots of other bone broth options; whey protein amount others; grass-fed ground beef, which is a fantastic source of collagen. A bunch of supplements. A great cheese selection. Honestly, way better than the grocery store that used to be there, and cheaper too. This is my favorite place to shop for groceries in the area.”

“This is a tiny convenience store hidden in the Alviso neighborhood, selling liquor, snacks and beverages, and groceries. I rarely come here, since each time I have in the past for basic stuff, like bread, they don't have such items. But not a big deal cuz they came through when I least expected it. I had gone to several lotto retailers with no luck, prior to my visit here on Monday. I was looking for some rare (monster themed) scratchers which are selling on ebay for three times more than what they're worth. Lo and behold, I found them here at the Marina Neighborhood Market which would be my last stop on my way home before giving up. I was ecstatic! Plus the staff got me to laugh with his playful comments seeing how excited I was about these tickets. They're probably not even winners, lol. But that's okay, I hit the jackpot just finding them here, so close to home when I had been searching far and wide.”
