“Had an amazing experience at this store. It is my birthday week and my brother and dad decided to pitch in for a gift. I decided on red wings since my brother has a pair of iron rangers. Me and my brother both went to the store together and Walter was the one who helped me buy my first pair. He was very informative helpful friendly and patient. We looked at various boots and he explained the pros and cons suggested proper sizing and overall knew everything there is needed to get a great pair of boots. I am so happy with my moc toes and i am grateful that Walter was the one who sold them to me. He even threw in a pair of red wing socks as it is tradition in the store. “Ive been needing shoes for work since my normal tennis shoes aren't cutting it so I stopped by at Skechers. They have an amazing deal going on right now if buy a pair and get half off of any pair of shoes that are over $25!! I took advantage of the sale and bought two work shoes lol. -The store is super clean and very organized! I came around 11pm and it wasn't busy whatsoever! This store is huuuuggee! There's a wide selection of shoes and a variety of shelves. -The customer service was excellent! I was helped out by two young girls today and they were awesome! They helped me find deals and find the exact shoes I was looking for! -The prices are very affordable for a good pair of comfort , slip resistant shoes. I got a bulky appearance white pair of shoes, it was so comfortable, and I felt like I was walking on clouds! ( No exaggeration)”

“This is the type of place where you never know what you're going to get, so give yourself plenty of time to explore and try things on. It's a small place, but it really packs in a lot of clothes, accessories, etc. When I went I easily found parking across the street from the church, it's a small space next to the church and parking lot for what I believe is a public library. There was a clothing rack outside, but the door is usually locked even during business hours, unfortunately because theft has been an issue. The woman who I assumed owned the business was very friendly and helpful. There is a rack that is covered with cloth, she explained this is a special rack where the clothes are very delicate, so she has to size people before they try clothes from this rack on because they can break easily. I've never had somebody size me before trying on their clothes, but it didn't offend me and I get it. Vintage clothing sizes are literally all over the place and for a small business I imagine expenses can easily add up if people are accidentally ruining your most expensive and delicate pieces.”

Ignacio, the store attendant, greeted me and let me know my dog was welcomed to enter. Ignacio was extremely helpful and I found the perfect pair of quality shoes. The price was the same as the offered sale price on the ASIC'S website and I did not have to wait for delivery. The exceptional customer service and overall satisfaction with the product will likely make me a repeat customer. I also saw plentiful selections of Australian Chelsea booties and Berkenstock sandals. I think it is important to support our local small businesses.”

“I'm a beginning dancer who has tried to buy dancing shoes on Amazon. While Amazon shoes are cheaper ($30 versus the $108 that I spent), the sizing is off. My non-dancing shoe size is 5, and I just found out that my dancing shoe size is 4.5!!! I wouldn't have known that had I not come here. I came in around 9:30 am on a Friday and stayed for an hour trying on different pairs of shoes. Anne was very very helpful and patient! I literally did not know what I wanted or what to look for because these are my first pair of dancing shoes and I just started learning salsa again post-quarantine, so I was overwhelmed with all the styles and choices! Anne suggested a narrower open toe design to keep my feet from slipping out of the shoe, and we determined 2.5 and a satin shoe was more ~fitting~ (ba-dum-tss) for me. So...I walked out with completely different shoes than I envisioned but they were more comfortable, fit well, and were still cute! I have a salsa night tonight, so I'm excited to try! I will report back on the quality of the shoes after a few nights out dancing!”

“This place has the most amazing collection of vintage work wear! I recently popped in and purchased the most beautiful and unique vintage work jacket. While admiring the jacket, the owner was able to describe to me (in detail) the jacket's history. He told me the jacket was constructed in Asia in the 1950's and shipped to France where the style was worn frequently by blue collar workers. Thus, it is a beautiful combination of both vintage French work wear and unique Asian details. Every time I wear the jacket I get tons of compliments because it is so pretty and so unusual!Golden Age also sells the most stunning vintage reproduction high heels. The owner designs them himself! If you have ever tried to wear vintage high heels then you will appreciate Golden Age's reproductions. They are made with all of the same beautiful details of vintage shoes but are not cracking and falling apart like true vintage shoes are!This store and the lovely man who owns it are an absolute treasure!”

I trust them with all my designer shoes. For designer shoes, it might take more then 3-4 days to get the shoes back, but for an amazing job, what is an extra 2 days?”
